Soooo. I’m just going to be honest with you. People were asking for things and ghosted him or refused the items then he’s thinking of you(Sneakers that you didn’t even ask for 🤦‍♀️). Someone canceled for Mother’s Day so he booked you so he could make his sales probably. Sounds very RUDE if you ask me. Try with your friend’s SA I’d say.

Hold out for a bag with this guy then switch to your friend’s SA. If you still have no bag in 3 months would you consider asking to speak to the store manager to discuss your situation? I have heard of people doing this and since you have shopped there so long it wouldn’t seem pushy or aggressive to just alert them to your frustration.

I have an amazing SA now and because of her I can't imagine giving sales to anyone who disrespects me as a person. Don't waste another dime with him. Ask the manager to switch you to a new SA who remembers what you have asked for and alerts you when the items are on hold for you right away.

Day sneakers won’t cut it. The Kelly ring is ok but still you have people purchasing fine jewelry on a monthly basis. So basically he’s doing as much as you’re doing …don’t think the grass is greener on the other side. At this point stop shopping lol if You’ve spent 2:1, 3:1 just stop and continue to check in with him about your bag via text.

Ignoring the quota bag, I’d have cut ties after the day sneakers. He literally held them for you, didn’t tell you about it until the end of the hold and then didn’t refresh the hold for the day you told him you would pick them up. I feel that’s a very big fuck up. Also it seems like he’s even failing to get you basic things, let alone quota bags. The point of having an Hermes SA is that they get you stuff because you generally can’t just walk in and buy things. That’s the business relationship.

If I were you, I’d switch SAs immediately. Why? You still have a crap ton of items that you are still waiting on buying. So that experience can be translated to the new SA. And when they see your history, they’ll know that you’re a long term customer.

I shop at the NYC store, they can be curt but do their job. In contrast he is being nice and not doing his job. He’s not inventing water. He’s the problem. Cut him loose, you’re not doing charity work here. If he was your boyfriend would you tolerate all of this behavior? It’s easier to fly back out to Paris and get a quota bag.

He sounds disorganized. But the other issue is it’s not entirely up to him. This is an extremely competitive store where people spend 4-5x a year for an offer. He has to vouch for you when there are many other clients with higher spend or have shopped longer. The key to Hermes is patience. It’s not unusual to not have an offer for two years unfortunately these days esp if you’re after highly coveted specs. You may get a better sa in terms of being more organized and not bringing the wrong items and keeping track of what you want but the issue remains that it’s a competitive boutique. This is why a lot of people go the reseller route. Sometimes all they want is bags. If you love what they have to offer and like to get their qb then just be patient. It’s also harder to get an offer after the first. You may want to switch to another sa and boutique after you get this bag.

HIII, I worked with one for 2 years and spent probably equivalent to 3 bags with and never offered one, and all she was saying is Im waiting for one that you will like, mind me, all my specifications were a Birking 30 or Kelly 28 in any bright color, no black or gold color and in silver. Not specific at all. I had to change SA. New SA in 10 months with Niiiice spending got me a bag. The other got my friend one of each in same 2 year time.

You need a new SA. I would ask for the manager and review your story, and let the manager assign you a new SA. Your SA is not on top of business, and if you are having this problem other people are also having this problem. It is never a problem to stand up for your standards, I am sure you would not run your business this way. Time to move on........

I have been shopping at one of the Vegas boutiques. I would say you should switch to Vegas if you can. I have heard from my SA and some other SA here that the quota is considerably lower here. I actually spent less than 1:1 to get my Birkin 25 in a neutral color and I waited about a year. I would say wait it out until you get the bag and switch your store. Cant wait to see the unboxing!

I would consider approaching the store manager next time you're in the boutique, and I would ask them for a quota bag. This behavior is atrocious. If you ask politely without throwing shade at the SA or mentioning your spend, you'll be fine, and the SM may make it happen for you. This has happened before. The SM CARES about people spending money, and they know it can only continue if QB is eventually offered. I would not wait longer. Once you get a QB, switch SAs STAT. He just is very bad at his job...

I have been shopping at Hermes since 1988. I have met many SAs worldwide in my time. Most of them are pleasant, but a few have been rather unpleasant. During the aughts, SAs at BH were known as the worst. Having said this, none of the SAs are rocket scientists, so when one is a rocket scientist (or a lawyer, accountant, financial analyst) it is very frustrating. I have to bite my tongue quite a bit. Your SA sounds like a real Dunderhead. For me he would be too exhausting. Remember, the best predictor of the future is the past. I would not fire him, but I would start shopping in LV. It is close to you and they tend to be pretty easy going.

It sounds like the SA isn't focused on what you're asking for. I've been shopping with my SA for five years and have been offered a special order two times. I'll be seeing my SA soon and have already been asked what bag I want. I'm a good client and loyal like you. My SA is out of state, yet I buy all year long. While we all know the Hermes' game when it comes to bags, it's just a really bad look when your friend is offered a bag you asked for after the SA has lied to you. I would see what your SA offers you in the next two months and if nothing, I would move on. Just my two cents.

If you already spend more than 3:1 then it's been too much, you should've gotten better service, I would have left long time ago, I love the idea of building purchase history in Las Vegas, at this pointw you should not feel guilty if doing this because it's a different store, Las Vegas will see you are a genuine customer who has been unlucky. When you feel brave enough to dump this SA, I would talk to manager first, and be honest to him about everything, and ask for their advice, so when you do change your SA, the choice of the new SA will be from the manager's decision, so your hands will be clean from "guilt".

HI! I am having the exact same debate between Rodeo and Topanga. I have shopped with Rodeo for years.. but not always with the same SA. The last 6-7 months- I have used the same SA shopped now 4 times.always buy something. I also went to Las Vegas- got my first bag (a Loop). Wondering if better to hold out with the Rodeo SA, or start fresh with Topanga. Have not gotten a quota bag yet and really want one. I love the brand, and truly love all the items I have bought I think I have just done too much impulse shopping and spread myself too thin. What do you think... Cry me a river! JK I would be SALTIFIED and you are being SO nice (which is good karma so keep that up). I heard the no spend or low spend >$100-500 really sends the message to the SA's that are paying attention. I'd tag along with your friend on her next trip without giving him the heads-up and maybe ask for something small from her SA to get that relationship started. If he's there and says anything you can just be honest and say that you feel like he's too busy for you. For me, it's the fact that your friend was offered a bag from her SA and then all of a sudden he remembered he had something he could offer you. It sounds like he's holding the goods for other clients and you're an after thought, which is not cool.

I would give it one more month, if you don't get the bag, it's probably never coming... can you use a birthday or another event to reach out for the quota bag... I wouldn't buy anything else. I had a SA that was great with my husband and but never seemed excited to shop with me. Now I have someone I love working with and they have gotten me everything I have asked for. It's night and day. Of course, the only downside is it's more expensive 😂to have a good SA. Good luck and sorry for the run around. It's really annoying!

I feel your pain! Ive mentioned before my former SA just left and I’m assuming all of my current purchases ( 2:1 ratio ) won’t count with my new SA. Like you said, they personally haven’t earned enough commissions from me..Ugh so frustrating. I’ve had one appt so far and we will see how this relationship goes. Even though it’s easy to say just switch I know it’s not that easy..you’ve invested so much time and money into your relationship with him.
