Did you know Grian happens to have the "All Kelp" permit? Also, did you know you can eat dried kelp? If ever there was a point to be made, it's by selling dried kelp (specifically, not the raw or bundled stuff). Also as far as the honey incident is concerned, SmallishBeans also seems to have a "Glow Berries" permit (in addition to the "Honey & Slime" permit) - isn't that a food as well? ;-)

I think Joel's permit says honey blocks and slime blocks. Keralis has the Candles and Honeycomb permits. Grian had Kelp but I think it says Kelp and Kelp Blocks and nothing about dried Kelp as it's a food. Idk there are a few permits that go against another, the All Foods permit has a handful of items that technically fall under other people's permits but are technically a saturation giving edible item thus part of ALL the Foods permit. Honestly I'm betting these overlaps weren't an unintentional oversight by Grian but rather cleverly hidden story points for the future.

If you really want to double down on the POE POE, you should get a vendor contract with Cleo. Haybales are food for llamas. All the food. Also, consider: seeds for parrots and chickens, torch flower seeds for sniffers, cactus for camels, sea grass for turtles, wheat for goats, cows, and sheep, buckets of tropical fish for axolotls, etc. (Not sure how many of these would need vendor contracts.) ALL the FOOD.

As much as grian doesn’t want to get involved here there is genuinely a rule about not selling things the other hermits sell so we are going to need clarification what is considered food because There is a kelp permit, a honey permit, a glow berry permit, a chorus fruit permit…. If you are allowed to sell what other hermits can’t then we need an understanding because his permit covers an insane amount of other permits and because of that he is in a position that was meant to be removed from the shopping district… this situation is indeed going to need a grian to deal with as much as he doesn’t want to… 🤷‍♀️

The permit definitely needs a more definite collection of what it encompasses. BUT......Honey is defined as a food. Its viscosity makes it a semi solid food, this is a fact and so "all the foods" includes the consumable 'honey'.

The one thing i would add to minecraft: mobs that react with the Crafting Table... Villager- makes 1 (game wide) Hero. The Hero Villager would be able to remove or build and edit builds. illager- makes 1 (game wide) Foe. The illager Foe hunts players constantly, wrecks builds, and removes light sources. Piglin- makes 1 (game wide) Piglin King... One King to rule them all! He thinks he owns ALL THE GOLD. His Piglins collect it for him.

I like Iskall’s point with the Armor trims. I think there should be some more utility with them. Just being an aesthetic change makes many casual players opt out from collecting them. They should add a +/- effect with the trims based on where they’re found and the utility they’re given.

My argument is that we established that permits can overlap with the joker permit that could become any other permit of False's choice regardless of if that permit is already taken or not and that a possible consequence of not stocking your shop was to put out duplicate permits. The POE POE is right: in rules, including for example CCGs, the specific supercedes the general. If you have a card that affects "everyone" but a card says it's immune to that first card, it's immune. Since the server decided that honey was its own permit, this specific supercedes your general permit.

ALL the food means ALLLLL the foods... Technically even though Joel jas the permit for Glow Berries, Half Foods should be allowed to also sell Glow Berries as they ARE food. Spider eyes, rotten flesh and even poisonous potatos and puffer fish are also considered food. For one they all add to the Balanced Diet advancement as well as giving Saturation (anything that adds to the hunger bar or adds beyond max to keep you "full" longer). This would exclude a few "consumables" like potions, chorus fruit, and even Milk as it doesnt give saturation but instead acts as an effect cleanse ability.

No no, you definitely have a point there, I don't think of honey as being something you drink. I consider it a food as well. The only way I consider it a drink if if you add a liquid to it, like tea, or lemon juice etc. Se with yogurt kinda. It's definitely not a drink unless you add milk or something to make it more liquidy.

That might be a bit on the other side of the line. Honey is listed on the Minecraft wiki, it restores as much hunger as golden carrots, but only as much saturation as some other bad foods. Potions are consumable, but they don't restore hunger or saturation.

Point of clarification for thlse stating either that Joel had the honey permit or that keralis needs to post his permit... Joel only has honey and slime BLOCK permit. Not honey bottles. Keralis' permit is for candles and bees wax not honey bottles. The deal made between XB and papa K is from a by product of having bee farms. Honestly, the POE POE is incorrect. Half Foods (which still needs a sign, btw) is where you buy ALL the food and this should include any and all food items even if there is a single permit available for that item because in most cases an item has more uses than just food. Interestingly, it also should include mushrooms and that will cause a problem with that permit office government guy!!! ALL the Food = isn't specific to player foods...could/should also include all food for animals as well. Keep up the good fight XB. We are here for you 😉

I like that they are only cosmetic. It allows players to have more decisions related to self expression and not game efficiency. And this way they are more useful for minigames if you want different teams with better armour than leather that are easily distinguishable.
