I just came down here to comment the same thing. You ever hear someone say a sentence that makes you feel smarter? This is such a healthy mindset to have when you're trying to grow as a creator. The previous attempts weren't failures. They were practice so that future attempts can be better. ☀️
@silversugar21405 ай бұрын
Same. I wrote a full comment about it because it legit almost made me cry. I never knew I needed someone to say something like this but it feels freeing. So freaking clever. Truly brilliant.

Absolutely. The practice kind of doing the same thing over and over feels subtly different than the madness kind, but I'm not quite sure how and it might just be a question of mindset.

We just hit daylight savings time out here and it's really put me in a mood for spring, so based on your prompt, here's a little ode to the first spring morning of the year: Should the silence be believed It must be some auspicious time. Some great deed remembered, Or a marvel yet to come, Just where it’s quiet. Where it’s still. But lift an eye up from the cobbles, See the bricks that meet the sun The earliest of all. The church bells ringing “Stir and meet the sky All set alight and gentle still.” A flock of birds in loose formation Meet the chiming as it rolls Up and out, up and out And spiral there to meet the spring That rises ever still.

Now that was yet another banger episode, Joe! One of the things I think you do really well that puts you in the top tenth percentile of Hermits is your audio levels. Every hermit is at the same volume as you are. It seems like such a minuscule thing but you might be shocked at the lack of audio leveling in the majority of hermits videos. It doesn’t make their videos unwatchable but it does make me want to skip collabs or increase the speed to 2.5x until that part is over. I feel like you could present a masterclass in audio at a HC meeting one day.
@silversugar21405 ай бұрын
As someone who has recently begun working with groups in a recording session audio is something I am becoming more and more painfully aware of and now I am definitely not gonna be able to "unsee" this now as it were. TxT I usually skip the collab bits unless something was particularly funny and I crave the perspectives because I have so much to watch at this point but now I'm just gonna be like hyper critical of the levels! (Obviously it's not unwatchable like you said, since it never bothered me enough to be truly noticed, but since you pointed it out...haha yea.)

You could open a cash and carry, not sure what you call them over there but they're like a wholesaler that don't sell to the public (so you wouldn't need a permit) , you need a registered business to use them. Sell stock to permit holders, say half sale price (rrp) but only by the chest of full shulkers.
