HermitCraft 10: Where's that wither? - episode 9

My sister Quinn joins me on guitar for the first half of this episode as I attempt to mess with Etho by building my new black glass shop right next to his! But Echo and the mail system mess back with us, and PearlescentMoon has to clean up the mess!
Then, in an attempt to gather wither roses to dye additional black glass, things kind of get away from me a bit. My pals ‪@WelsknightGaming‬, ‪@xisumavoid‬, ‪@rendog‬, and ‪@FalseSymmetry‬ need to help me bring down an escaped wither!

I love the pre-False lineup for the Wither fight. We got: - A Juppet with an incomplete set of unenchanted iron armor - The Dog, with Gold armor - A spaceman decked out in extremely powerful gear, but refuses to fly - A medieval knight, with weapons and armor to match Absolutely amazing

As a senior computer science student, I was not ready for Joe to reference Big-O notation/time-complexity. It is such a more inspired name for the shop than Big Wood, which would fit a large tree or corporate office just as well, making no relevant reference to the hundred block tall hourglass that marks it.

100%. lost my gear to a trident drowned when the 1.13 update happened and I didn't know they existed. so like any normal rational human would do (/sarcasm), I quit that server (tbf I was the only one playing at that point so)

Solution is to play hardcore. You never find yourself stuck in the world with no gear.

I liked her for a bit until I followed her on twitter and saw her disdain towards most hermits for not actively adding BIPOC Trans Femme voices in Hermitcraft. Welp my like for her was short lived. Shes not the chill trans type, shes one of the annoying trans activist types who think hermits are just cis het white males and hermitcraft has little diversity. Because diversity is literally skin deep for these people.

If I'm not mistaken, in the first phase of the fight, the Wither tries to stay a few blocks above it's target. If you are flying at the same level as it, it will keep going up. To bring it down, you'd need to fly close enough for it to target you but low enough for it to follow downwards.

A Wither will eventually drift down to the ground if it has no agro, it just takes a while for it to get "bored". It also drifts down very slowly, but it does drift down. In fact, if, for whatever reason, you have a Wither over the void in the End, it will eventually drift down into the void and take void damage.

Having worked directly with the USPS for the past several years (at a mail printing company), i can confirm that there has never been a minor infrastructure issue that they have been quick to fix. Major issues are different, but small problems just go on for years without getting addressed
