@@snaptrap723 I don't think it matters too much cause so much of the magic comes from the grind of survival and making it all work so perfectly within the space of the server. Plus he obviously does his own terraforming and bushes and details and is an experienced builder, it's not like the base having other people's designs means it's all just a copy/pasted area. He puts a ton of work in

There are a few things you could do with the fish, however, adding devices to make them jump might create safety hazards for any actual live fish you decide to add. You could try just a few soul sand bubble columns with block swappers might let you occasionally catch a glimpse of an actual jumping fish. Beneath the lake, in a few spots, place soul sand beneath the normal lakebed, have sticky pistons pull away the block and a second piston push the soul sand into its place. Any fish in the up current will splash out of the water. By having multiple of these, some on delays too, will likely give a more natural randomness as the kinds of fish that jump will be random, as will the locations from which they do. It’s not the most complex thing, but I’m sure any of the redstone inclined members would be willing to help out. (Especially Etho or Tango since it will let them out of the mailbox redstone.) Oh, quick edit to add, before I forget, make sure the splashing areas are a block or two away from any dry land or lily pads that the fish might get stranded on.

Daylight sensors have issues with weather. The timer can be solved with villagers, go back to season 9, when Docm77 built the megaphones over the perimeter which then caused the dirt coverage prank. The construction of the villager trigger is rather simple and doesn't need to rely on light.

Pretty Lake!! the bean shape looks good and i really really like the cliff side giving it some kind of privacy and resort flair. The flying fish idea is amazing :D Maybe you could add some lily pads and more animals at the sides (turtles, frogs, the already mentioned pesky birds). If you get an area with taller palm trees, you could build little tree house huts :* +love the heartfelt praise you gave to pearl, the post office turned out amazing

You could just use a bubblevator to send the armor stand up and let it fall back down a few secons later, or pull it back down with a magma block using a block swapper and a small shaft going down into the lake.

maybe if you dispense the armor stand into a soul sand bubble column and make a piston (with a stone block in front so it's hidden) extend above water it would travel further? then it's just about the timing on the redstone!! also since the day/night cycle changes very quickly when someone sleeps maybe you could read it off a villager going to bed like doc did for his server announcements last season since they go to bed a little earlier so it's dusk (and also so the system doesn't trigger two times too quickly). OR ALTERNATIVELY!!! you could add a soulsand/magma block switch at the bottom of the lake and have multiple armor stands popping up at different times (hook up to cactus growing or bamboo growing if you want it to trigger at random intervals). very cool idea and i hope you find a solution that works for you!!!

For the fish jump, one side could be daylight sensor while the other side is nightlight sensor. It would be incredible to see it jump when you aren’t expecting too so another idea could be a randomizer + both sides powering at the beginning of the day and the end of the day!

As a suggestion for the jumping fishes, you could also just have a large school of a ton of fish heads jump straight up and down from the bottom to the surface, cause instead of simulating one of the large predators (like a bass) jumping back and forth. You could simulate a school of fishes feeding near the surface or a school of minnows escaping a predator. I think it would be a really neat effect.

for the armor stand launcher, If you use observers and trapdoor-scaffolding-vertical-wire to hook up the pistons instead of repeaters and redstone dust, you can submerge the entire mechanism in water without worrying about the water breaking it!

for something a little less bulky, you could maybe have the fish just jump straight up with a bubble column? then all you need is a one block hole in the bottom of the lake, that you could probably even cover up with a piston after they're done jumping

For your jumping fish you might have an issue getting it to face different directions. So you probably want to put it on a loop. Basically you does the jump like you showed us then drops into a hole under the pond. Down there it gets pushed by a water stream back to it's starting point and jumps again. Tango is probably the best person for the job if you want to ask someone for help and suggestions. He's got a bit of experience with launching things around his base.
