Many people don't realise the Nether 'woods' aren't flammable. However, there's a very good and obvious reason why they aren't, any crimson/warped forest wouldn't last long! 😂

I was doing a test where I stacked all the wood blocks on top of one another and realised crimson and warped aren’t flammable

It's more than just that. Usually materials made out of wood can be used as fuel, but nether wood types cannot be. Furthermore, you can't smelt nether fungi stems into charcoal. You can, however replace them interchangeably with other log types in the campfire recipe. And sticks can't choose whether or not to be furnace fuel or not 😂

What I’m loving most about this season is the interactions I mean the building is great but I love seeing the hermits just chilling and chatting. Oh and also the permit holder for campfires and soul campfires is Grian

I recognize that farm! I built it just a couple weeks ago on my server! Fair warning: the shulkers at the top sometimes break the minecart, so that needs to be replaced occasionally. :)

A thought on your basement viewing area: it would be cool to decorate the cliff face with moss and vines and stuff to make it a bit more interesting. Could be an exercise in terraforming/beautification.

Every Hermit has their own personality and style, some don't jive with others. Also time.. if you only have time to watch 2-3 hermits, means there will always be a disparage between views. Everyone has their favorites but I enjoy watching all but 3. Most people can't watch that many unfortunately.

Unfortunately not. Sticks cannot be enchanted.

@@Foxeyify that's a shame. I remember enchanted sticks (and other things) from the etho/beef/pause trio but that was modded maps. Maybe they can Re texture the swords without doing it to all swords?

Well slow falling should work on Armor stands idk if it's really possible but I think after 1.21 update wind charges and mase might make this possible

i have a couple suggestions for your tennis court. white banners, half way in the ground, for the net, maybe put carpet there. instead of webbing, so you don't have to destroy the stand every time it hits the "net." also, having the stand hold a round object in front of it (like an ender pearl) and making the stand invisible, would make it look more like a tennis ball! edit: having the stand hold a block, like a slime block, would work too. and would probably be easier to see one more thing. idk if this works or not, but if you enchant armor that you put on it, would it give the stand the enchantment? like slowfalling?

armor stands Do benefit from armor enchantments on them! that's how you can be killed by one wearing Thorns 😆 unfortunately, slow falling is a potion effect, and they only work on players and mobs.

The tennis court definitely needs jump boost for the players at the very least, but the goal should be co-op to get the longest rally, rather than to make the other player miss

jevin, you should raise the fire part of the forge. blacksmiths dont work from the floor of their shop. the hot coals where the metal goes is at around waist height.

also, whenever ive built a blacksmith shop/forge like that in the past, i like to put the actual forge on the wall of the shop with accessibilty on the outside area as well as the inside. sort of like a dual purpose forge and heating the interior of the building.

What the point of the permits if everyone just builds their own farm instead of buying what they need. Kinda defeats the intentions of the permits if everyone just builds their own farms.

I wouldn't say it defeats the purpose at all. They outright said that doing this was allowed, and even then I highly doubt every hermit is going to make a private farm for EVERY item sold at the shopping district.

There have always been Hermits who chose to build their own farms in preference to buying. The only difference the permits make is preventing multiple shops for the same item, instead of every Hermit farming the same item having their own shop.

You see, this way, a single hermit doesn't have to farm materials for all 27 hermits :)

They said that it is allowed to build farms on your own. There are hermits who need a huge quantity of specific materials for projects and stuff.

Having a permit means you're the only person allowed to sell that specific item, it doesn't mean people aren't allowed to build their own farms anymore
