Hermitcraft 10: Postal Delivery Company! | Episode 4

In this Hermitcraft episode, PearlescentMoon launches a brand new mail service proposition to Tango and Etho; henceforth establishing a new partnership to benefit the entire server.
A brand new office building is established and redstone systems to service the entire server begin to be set up.

They can charge for the stamps. Make a book of stamps ( maybe a shulker box with each hermit's stamp) and make diamonds that way. Maybe even have some way to customize the stamps so they can't be forged. Hermits could even buy the rights to make unlimited stamps themselves for the people that they send to most frequently. Good to keep up with the maintenance and building of the mailboxes, diamonds are. You could do trades for other items too if you need supplies for the mail services.

Plus, if they’re all standardized, there’s less risk that a package will just stay in the system indefinitely because the stamp was spelled differently or something

I watched Tango's vid before this one and remember him saying that name tokens or like postcards for each hermit will be used so the system knows where to send the shulker. The postcards should be what the hermits can buy and/or a fee for sending mail

Postage service for hermitcraft is such a fantastic idea! Not only we get an insanely beautiful build from Pearl, we also get super cool redstone video from Tango (that i totally didn't understand but thought was super fun to watch). I hope all the hermits are as excited about mailing as we viewers are. A small business idea would be to sell customised stamps in the post office? have the stamps in a pouch like TCG packs where a number of stamps = 1 diamond?

Idea for a low red stone post office: everyone gets a shulker box. People put stuff in their shulker boxes. Someone then mines the box and transfers the items to the mailbox. Simple and will definitely be forgetting later, but will work at first.

Ngl probably my favorite part was the reassembly of soup group. I know you all try to buddy up with new people for new seasons to keep things fun and interesting but soup group is probably my alltime fave out of all of hermitcraft/possibly even mcyt in general, so it's great to see you all beep boppin around again together
