That looked like they had a boat full of guardians though, and in the vod I watched it was all raid mobs that they were dealing with (plus a bit at the end of trying to wrangle the elytra-wearing zombie piglin that was near Scar's portal). No guardians.
@dbseamz3 ай бұрын
@@MuljoStpho Someone screenshotted it and I tried zooming in to see who it was. Whoever was towing the boat was using an invisibility potion, although that didn’t stop the guardians from shooting them. They had diamond armor. Two of the escorts were wearing Netherite (and I think one of them is Doc based on colors and nameplate length) and a third that might be False or Tango was in diamond. The other escort in Netherite was too far away to see much of their skin, but it looks like their armor might have amethyst trim so that could narrow down the potential suspects.

The way Grian talked to Skizz when they went to his base to talk about what the snails were doing oddly reminded me of Gordon Ramsay

Thank you so much for demonstrating how you handle consent! I have seen a tedious amount of people trying to replicate Grian's pranks and somehow, it's NEVER funny...

As has already been said a bazillion times but I think the consent check was a great thing to show the viewers that those convos do happen! Communication is everything!

I can't speak for all people around my age but I think as an adult I really do not gaf about immersion in minecraft roleplay lol. I always figure that these episodes take a lot of planning and communication behind the scenes but it's nice to know for sure, and I think it's great you're disclosing stuff like that for your younger audience! personally I just watch because I love seeing a bunch of friends get up to shenanigans and make sick builds, and the half assed roleplay is silly (in a good way). I think it's a nice relief from stuff like the dreamsmp or skyedoesminecraft vids which I used to watch as a teen/young adult. I've grown out of that style of content, tried dreamsmp after a friend recommended it to me but couldn't get into it. I'd rather see people talk about behind the scenes stuff bc that's more interesting to me than just the roleplay imo.

I love the progress on the fortress! It's beautifully imposing so far. Also BIG fan of reminding viewers who may not think deeper than what you guys show on camera that you guys *do* check in with each other on pranks that involve destroying items

I love the snails!! LOL when Skizz kept not noticing things even when he had to have!! (I'm eagerly awaiting his POV to see if it really was bobby for the massive white nose on the ship lol!) And it's good to have the reminder that Hermitcraft is fun with friends and the lore and pranks never go too far for the hermits! You and Grian teaming up to both help and make fun of Skizz was so great! :D

I think this is also a good excuse for skizz to get rid of that poop gift without 'getting his hands dirty' 😂 since he promised to keep all of the gifts no matter how valuable or invaluable it it😂 I see what u did there skizz😏 Also thanks for peeling the curtains Gem, some people just gets too immersed in Hermitcraft that they forget that most of this interactive goofy back and forths, specially large scale projects/pranks/storylines, are collaboration that you talk the bits and pieces behind the scene and it's sad when fully immersed audience bring hate and bad comments on other hermits due to this exchanges completely forgetting that you guys are friends behind the screen

Some ideas for the castle: I think the terrain would look super cool as black to white (or vice versa) sand. And i was going to suggest towers with bridges but you already covered that 😂 On a side note, if you were wanting to add some cool lore to it, you could add a secret pirate hideout that pirates used after the tower was abandoned. And it could be a really cool aspect of your base!

I think the Portal tower could benefit from some kind of purple detailing to help make it recognizable or identifiable from the outside. Three options I thought of during the video itself that would still fit into the themes of the base in one way or another: 1. You have two flying fish orbiting your lighthouse. Could you move/add a purple one to be swimming to or from the portal tower? This would tie the two structures together and give you another layer of 3d detailing to break up the rigid lines of the towers and castle. 2. Deepslate and amethyst blocks already fit very well together, so you could add some texturing to the outside of the tower (on the level of the portal) made from amethyst to help display that there is something slightly different about that level of the tower. 3. Kind of similar, but you could add some purple glass emanating from the windows across from the portal to make it look like the purple light is shining out of the tower. I got this idea when I spotted Scar's portal in the distance and he has all the glass "particle effects" sticking out the back side of his structure.

I kind of miss seeing the Netherhub come together, it was always such a fun design and completely different every season. Shame they're not really having one this season!
