The premium fireworks is actually a way to get diamonds out of circulation which somewhat combats the inflation of the Hermitcraft economy. There isn't much that consumes diamonds the way the game works atm.

​@@gunchbandit4422I was curious as to the comparison, Scar has approximately 32 stacks of diamond ore, mined with 2.2 profit with Fortune 3 gives 7.8 stacks of diamond blocks. Wow, Cub does have more.

Cubby, cubby cubby, most people don’t realize that it actually takes diamonds to craft the ones that have the trail. I bet you that if scar understood you weren’t just saying they were expensive because you wanted to charge a lot for them, but they actually took diamonds in the recipe per firework, he would have paid you full price. I know it’s not about the diamonds, but you also want to be able to keep producing them for people, right?

Lol did you see Cubs diamond shulker box? The man's not hurting and never will be... honestly imo the lowest price for anything in the shopping district should be for 1 Diamond BLOCK. The recent handful of updates have drastically increased the diamond spawn rates and made them far easier to find via caving... everyone is sitting on stacks and stacks of diamonds, or could be very easily with an hour or 2 of mining, and yet sell everything absolutely dirt cheap.

For the amount of rockets crafted, 67 Rockets at a 7 Diamond : 3 Rocket conversion I believe you needed to use up 161 diamonds for that? So... definitely not making your money back lol, scar got away with highway robbery

Give Scar a tour of the Fireworks factory (after removing any and all buttons, switches, etc. and putting a temporary "Scar Safe" switch in your inventory to place for demonstrations) and show him that the Velocité ammunition literally requires diamonds for crafting it; that'll show him why they are so expensive.

Perhaps you can make a special "you got mail" fireworks bundle so you can sell more and make getting mail "more special and noticable". Perhaps get a special arrangement with Pearl that the hermits get a bundle of fireworks and stamps together

Hey cub, I was thinking, if enough hermits buy fireworks, you can have like weekly or monthly merchandise. Some special fireworks that only appear sometimes in the shop.

Can confirm, Cub absolutely lost diamonds on the deal. Just one stack of those fireworks takes 149.33... diamonds to make, plus the 5 extra he made for demonstration purposes brings it to 161 diamonds.

Holy Shit! First of all the firework formulations are insane! I never knew how varied and complicated the recipes were ...no wonder you're wearing a lab coat. That door design is fantastic (and also way over my head). I'm still playing on 1.19, with Create, and haven't had a chance to try the new blocks. But overall, Cub, you are doing amazing things!!

*Quality of Life updates* are what Mojang should be working on. REACH buff for beacons. All craftable block types for concrete (not powder, obviously). Ability to sit would be lovely! Bundles fully implemented. I know there a soooo many others but a Reach buff would be incredibly simple and useful with Jump buff.

Cub, an idea for the entryway to the rocket factory: a giant landing pad outside connected 1/2 way up kind of Princess Amidala balcony style that has a walkway which shoots fireworks when you land on the carpet/walk in on the runway. 🤩
