You should put a gold pile there "as a placeholder" and have the reward increase until someone chooses to participate. Hermit Green doesn't understand the economy on the Hermitcraft server so he is trying to get people interested by increasing his offer until someone bites. When I needed leaves for my giant tree I just grew trees on the canopy, then chopped down most the tree, leaving just enough for the leaves to not break. Saves a ton of labor/time trying to prune thousands of trees. You'll still need extra leaves to get the right shape though.

Use a 4-high stack of cobble and lots of bone meal to force a giant oak, and get more leaves from that. The apples, sticks, and excess saplings can be sent to compost bins to make more bone meal. ~OR~ Go to a forest biome and have at it!

Just a heads up about the redstone on the leave collector. When it counts how many shulker boxes a hermit have submitted, it eill only count 1 per input. Meaning if a Hermit places to 10 shulker boxes in their chest, the redstone will only count it as 1 shulker (as the input is constant from the first shulker all the way to the 10th shulker). Not sure if that make sense since I suck at explaining in english. But yeah, you might wanna take that into consideration!

Inyria, I was about to write about this problem. We need to like this comment so that Iskall sees it! The comparator won't turn off if a stream of shulkers comes through the hoppers, and the dropper will be triggered only once. If it stays like this, the hermits will get unfair results.

Ik a trick to grow a tree bigger and taller not many people know about this sadly so: 1st step is to place 4 glass blocks off the ground 1 block high and not on the corners of the 3x3 and then plant a sappling in the middle and grow it and tada more leaves.

Fair warning, having a ton of transparent blocks like leaves can be hard on peoples' frame rates. You may want to have a layer or two of leaves on the outside, with green/lime concrete on the inside - it'll be hard to tell the difference even from up close, short of a creeper exploding it.
