Edit; looked it up, and dried kelp is actually worse than beetroot in both the preparation time and how much saturation it gives you (saturation reduces the need for eating). Dried Kelp and Beetroots restore the same amount of hunger, but Kelp has a worse saturation value than beetroots do. Kelp does get eaten more quickly, but that just means that the total amount of kelp they have to keep getting more and more kelp.

When i saw you showing the 4 netherite blocks you had, i got reminded of the Tinkers Construct mod, and how you would cast out the netherite scrap from the smelter, but then i also remembered you can make alloys in the smelter, and netherite itself is an ingot, and counting how the smelter doubles your resources when you smelt them as ore instead of being refined already, you could technically get Netherite blocks more easily with tinkers construct
