For the unfinished pool area: since it's a post-apocalyptic setting, maybe the pool was being installed or renovated when the disaster happened? So you could have half a pool, empty, maybe with some plants growing or construction equipment?

For the pool out back, I'm reminded of a house we moved into when I was a kid where there was still a partial concrete bowl from an inground pool that was improperly removed. (My parents had it removed as soon as they could once we owned the house) But something like a partially dirt and grass, partially light grey concrete powder bowl could fit the whole abandoned vibe

Some armor stands would really bring the scene to life, the builds are amazing but some people would really help tell the story, like thieves trying to break into a shop or the farm, if some survivors scavenging for resources

The thing that is weird about this whole thing is that the house is facing the barn. Where I am (literally out in the country, surrounded by farms, where I've lived for over 30 years), no farm house faces the barn... The barns are always behind or off to the side of the farm house. Primarily, when you go into a farm, you pass the farm house to get to the barn.

Maybe above the balcony you should ad a smaller dormer just above the door, and leave the stairs overhanging the windows like they were originally. That will make the roofline more interesting,while also making it seem less cramped when you walk out the door onto the balcony.

Not everyone with money needs or wants a pool. What about a zen style garden, with a fish pond, flowers, etc? For the patio, if you stick with glass for the railing, the wood looks fine.

All they do in real life is throw down a concrete rectangle for flooring around the fire bits. They still put them smack in the middle of wood, like wind doesn’t exist. Pool area: I see a tennis court on the bottom and a pool area above it.

Awesome build, really really enjoy watching the creative process every episode. The rich home owners seem like they would spend money on a huge rock wall fountain/waterfall that takes the whole view from the inside of the top deck looking out. Seen a truck dropping off big boulders for a new home build site last week made me laugh then this build made me think of crazy rich people paying to have big rocks shipped lol anyway love the content just wanted to drop a line

There's a flaw I must address. The roof spills rain water into your balcony, thus flooding the house. Soooo, it probably wouldn't be built that way.

How about a pool with a rock structure that makes a small grotto. The rock structure would slightly overhang the pool end where a jacuzzi sits attached and cascades down into the actual pool. Inside the structure is a small cave that could look out on opposite side of pool to patio and hold your larger bbq.

I'd say wood and a barbecue go great together, everyone knows food cooked over wood tastes better than charcoal or gas. ;-p On that deck, I think it might look nice if you bring the eaves back to the edge of the house (just in that spot) and put a wooden half slab covering coming out halfway down the roof.
