By the way, if you place the Redstone dust of your pumpkin/melon farm where the noteblocks are, you can skip the noteblocks entirely. Saves you 8 blanks and a restone dust for each growing space. It's pretty nice. Also, Superbenny raises his prices because of the supply/demand mechanic. If you keep maxing out every trade, he will gradually raise the price. Very annoying, but there's not much you can do as far as I know.

Hi Iskall! Super Tommy raises his prices when you've sold too many of the same thing over and over again, it's kind of like supply and demand, you've sold him so many potatoes that he feels he kind of has too many potatoes now and wants something else, so he raises his prices in hopes that you'll sell him something else! :) If you give that particular trade a little break, he'll lower it back down to the normal price. Been experiencing this a lot with my own villagers lately. It will happen if you buy the same thing too much in a row too, they'll raise that price. Which is why it's great that you diversified by adding the melon and pumpkin farm so even if he raises his prices, you can just sell Super Tommy something else. Really enjoying the series as always!! ^.^

May I recommend an off switch for the farm? Comparator reading the chest. When full, it outputs to a torch tower leading to the layer above there noteblocks. Solid blocks over the redstone dots with repeaters on top of the noteblocks powering the blocks. Powered blocks transfer the signal to the redstone dots, activating the pistons and blocking growth until the chest is no longer full. If you add a line running to the unloader, you can also stop the cart from running when the chest is full.

Hey Iskall, nice episode. In reference to the villager trade price fluctuations. I think that they are affected by supply and demand. As in if you only trade with them for one commodity, the price will increase. Just like IRL common materials are cheaper than rare ones. So by using all their available trades the villager will assume that all items have an equal demand. Whereas if you only buy one item, potatoes in your case, the villager will deem that they are rare and therefore increase the price.

Super Legendary Tommy of Doom gets his own mini Iskall house it's so cute 😂 Repeatedly bugging AFK Stress (who actually RESPONDS) I'm cracking up 🤣 Keralis' silence, staring at the "golden carrot" and then just "........okay." LMAOOOOO It's so satisfying to have a little auto farm and the output being perfect right where you need it. Love it! Also, as others have said, you don't need note blocks. You can just remove them. The dust on top of the blocks is fine. Second, the the villagers have a supply/demand feature. If you use a lot of one trade, they'll up the price because it's highly demanded. If you alternate between like three trades (which the melons and pumpkins will help with), the prices should stay the same.

Iskall, you do not need noteblocks for that farm design. You just put redstone dust directly on the back of the observers in the 4-path shape (as opposed to the dot shape). It’s far cheaper and works just the same.

Emeralds are horribly devalued by villager trading (and especially curing). You can get an emerald for 1 rotten flesh, or 1 pumpkin, or 1 stone block... They can't have much value if they're that easy to get

@@tetsujin_144 I get that, but if enchanted full diamond gear can also be had for 1 stone block each (via two trades), then what intrinsic value do diamonds have? Emeralds can be directly converted into basically anything in the game (plus a decent amount of XP), while diamonds can only be converted into an unenchanted version of what villagers already provide basically for free.

30:30 farm could be a bit simpler, I don't know why the note block thing has become a standard but it works just fine (and with less materials) if you just put a dot of redstone directly on the observer instead of the note block, that dot of redstone is perfectly capable of powering the surrounding pistons no block needed

I'm sure it's been said BUT: If you trade very often they will increase prices. This can be temporary if you lay off for a bit. If you buy at the new higher price he won't ever reduce it until "cleansed by zombification" again. I trade with my farmers once per day and they never raise prices. Sometimes twice per MC day. cost vs demand

Another way to find diamonds... Look for two different kinds of ore close to each other. Dig 2x2 straight down. At -58 start putting poke holes on all four sides after every 3 blocks down to bedrock. Doesn't matter where the other starting ores are found. Even in a deep cave. If don't find anything going down, pillard up instead. Works! 😀

In the shop where you have the open spots for the moss, you should make into the wood that has the bottom textured like the sides, i think it would help smooth it out

My guy, you should make a moss farm and have it dispense extra bone meal on farmers in an auto crop farm to maximize production. The only bottleneck left is the number of trading Tommys

Also, you could hire other hermits to do time trading with your villagers. They get the xp, half the extra emeralds, and a few diamonds while you stock the best food on the server and profit

Iskall! the reason your villagers keep going up in price is because Tommy wants you to do things other than selling potatoes, itll go up and up and eventually only let you use that trade once a day if you dont buy/sell some other stuff from him as well, the price goes up to encourage you to buy his other wares
