Hermitcraft 9: EASTER EGG HUNT! (Episode 10)

Today is Hermitcraft Season 9 Episode 10 and today on Hermitcraft we hunt for Easter Eggs as part of the Hermitcraft Easter Egg Hunt Event! We search our base for eggs of all the other hermits to see who has hid their eggs the best. Then we create a new Moss Block Farm, Glow Lichen Farm, and Root Farm so we can soon decorate our base area. I hope you enjoy!

Think it was the storage for the poppies when he was showing it off in the first few episodes. The actual mechanism that does the trick is on the nether roof.

@@brainles_wan1222 watch Doc's most recent video. He shows everything because mojang figured out the last few lines in the code and have removed them for the next major update. The update suppressor and the machine for making the shadow stacks are on the nether roof. One of the shadow stacks then has to be placed into one of a couple of containers depending of you want to push or pull the items. What cub found was the device for pulling poppies out. It is simply a storage container and in order for him to use it again he'd have to shadow the stack of poppies and then find that storage container again. Don't think he planned to use it. It was where it was because it was hidden and in a spawn chunk.

Maybe. It does seem sort of simple though. The easiest way to tell would be testing it. A shadow block's created from an inventory duplication glitch. The stack basically exists in two places. This is easily broken though it you pick it up with the mouse. The trick is to use the number keys to move it in and out of the inventory. Next, to check, you'd just hold "Q" to spit out the item. Number goes down, it's normal. Number stays at 64? It's a shadow block.

@@OktoberVanderslice Probably a conduit is meant, which needs a Heart of the Sea to be crafted of. The conduit would light up the area and damage the drowns over time. Now, on the other hand, such rare gems are hard to come by.

For the farms. Pearl uses a technique where she steps up or steps down into a new area. A higher platform might be useful to separate the lichen/roots farms from the moss farm without a curtain of glow berries.

You probably already considered this, but for your moss farm, adding a water stream to concentrate the output into one hopper instead of using five separate ones would reduce some lag. I know getting rid of five hoppers isn't much, but in such a busy area on the server, every additional lag causing element adds up :)

Guys, Doc's lag machine is on the nether roof. All it looks like they found is the poppy storage from when Doc was showing off the trick. I doubt he'll ever have a need for it again. Its likely no big deal that it was destroyed. Don't expect to see a Doc reaction. Either he doesn't know and will never know, or he was asked, just so scar and cub could be sure, and he gave them the OK to destroy it.

You can trim your glowberry vines with shears now, at any length you want, to stop their growth, so that might help calm down the "lushness" a bit!

As for the Giant Penny Cub. I say do it. Not lots of people know about it or it's origins. 1947 World's Finest Comics #30. The Batman story in it was called "The Penny Plunderer" where a guy named Joe Coyne becomes a villain and is called The Penny Plunderer and his crimes an things was penny based. He was one of the more silly villains that came from the DC/Batman Universe.

If you don't like the glowberries, try a descending left-to-right transition and/or use strings to stop growth in some places. The reason it doesn't look that appealing is probably because it obscures the view of the farms.

Well done on the Easter egg hunt! You did really well for a few miscommunications about base locations and such. Also did you see what Scar named his egg for you? He renamed each egg to give the Hermit finder a laugh. I was trying to pause and read the egg. I could have sworn it said traitor something?? You scrolled over it to fast. Please let us know if you find out. I was curious. For example he left Beef one on his table and it was renamed “Where’s the beef”. Love the farm designs!

Batman also has a robot dinosaur in his cave. An alternate evil version of Batman from the Dark Multiverse (tldr is that it's a mirror version of the multiverse were every bad possible happens), who, after the batcave has a cave in and cripples his body, puts his mind into the robot and becomes a mass murderer called "B-Rex". I wish I was making it up, but I'm not.

Hi Cub Zedaph has a dangeling chicken in his base that poops egg over a big area. I have an idea to make some sort of a lottery out of it. You could be the guy for this I guess. Something where hermits can bet on the right hopper/chest and over a certain period of time you could check what hopper has the most eggs. Cheers!
