Minecarts can stop moving at chunk borders when chunks get loaded/unloaded! There's unfortunately not a lot you can do about it either, with such a large rail track - but you can at least confirm whether that's what happened if you press F3+G where you think the first minecart stopped moving that held up all the rest!

The only solutions i know of are to either use chunk loaders (something scar would want to get doc's help with), or to use ice/water streams while making sure to have water flow across chunk boarders to prevent items from getting stuck. I'm not sure if he is using minecarts to distribute items across the park or just for the core of the storage system that is fully dependent on them. (My friend and i built our Minecart based multi item sorter in the spawn chunks to avoid these issues)

I'm wondering, could a powered rail slope right at the chunk border restart stopped carts? That would send any cart in the downhill direction of the slope, so it wouldn't be great for a two-way rail, but I don't think Scar's storage system sends the carts the other way along the track anyways.

I’m probably only apart of like 1% of the fans in saying this, but as someone who found this channel around a decade ago I would absolutely love it if this new, fantastical Scarland had some type of reference to your roots on KZbin and the amazing “original” Scarland from back in the day. You could even straight up bring over the Mother Tree from og Scarland into that area, or those two trees that were connected with hanging bridges and winding paths climbing the sides that created a really cool treehouse back in the day. I genuinely think that those two builds still hold up extremely nicely 10 years later, but your building as well as the block palette for minecraft have come a long way since then, so a modern “updated” version of either of those two builds would be amazing in my eyes! Just think it would be really really cool if the new and improved Scarland paid some homage to the world it took inspiration from. There’s still a lot of us that grew up watching and loving that incredible world! Another great video as always from Scar here, no matter what he decides to use that area for, I’m excited to see it, (and the remainder of the park) come to life. Scar is truly an artist, and even if it’s just within minecraft, he has undoubtedly proven himself to be the imagineer he always dreamed of being. Could genuinely see him helping to design real world theme parks with the skills and vision he has showcased with Scarland over the last couple of years!!

5:54 concerning the minecarts: when there are too many entities on one Block, every other entity going on that same Block will get damage. This includes players and the damage ignores any armour so the minecart is a very deadly entity

Scar I have used the same sorting system for over a year. The reason it is breaking is you are unloading the area before all the carts have finished cycling/returning. The light at the input chest will turn off once the sorting system has dispensed the last items for sorting but you do need to wait for 2 minutes for the carts to return back to the cart yeeter and to return back to storage. If you unload the area before all the carts return then you will have the problem you are facing with carts roaming the rail line. With the size of your system and the fact that it runs under the park you may need to wait for a few minutes longer or ask Doc to chuck load your sorting system while it is active.

As a fellow disabled person who lives with their parents it can get incredibly frustrating and disheartening to not be able to do stuff like that for your family, helping out with household chores etc. My parents are amazing about it, and are understanding. The "squished too much" message is entity cramming, a mechanic that is meant to prevent lag by killing things if too many entities are in the same area (I think 23 is the default limit). With enough entities it's actually one of the fastest ways to kill someone

I think there is two problem with Scar’s storage system: 1, He built it across a lot of chunks, and some of them gets unloaded. 2, There is a bug with minecarts where they sometimes stop at the corners. Most of the time it’s not a problem but if he runs hundreds of minecart all the time it’s going to bug. For that reason the technical community uses straight rails in the corners too.

You should definitely build a jungle temple at that first empty spot. It should be the entrance too one of the ridesy Indiana Jones style. A treehouse could fit somewhere else, and would be a cool fit for a shop/restaurant (like the tree room)

I am perenially impressed by your building ability. That new park section is amazing. But can we talk about that Decked Out run? For that dead space that you weren't decided on doing, have it be a jungle temple shop/restroom. Your choice. As for the Elephant, name it Bumbo, as a reference to Dumbo and Season 5.

Temple or Tree House? Build both and make it a Jungle Temple that looks like a Tree growing underneath grew around it and raised the Temple up.

Still thinking about the adorable little elephant wandering through Scar's jungle. A book recommendation for you all is "Circles in a Forest" by Dalene Matthee. It was written in Afrikaans, but I trust the translation will be just as beuatiful as the original

I saw that you have a path that turns toward where the Goat Vs Buttercup battle was held, and was thinking that it would be cool to recreate the buttercup cookies shop down there with a monument resurrected in the name of the great battle. It would be a nice nod toward past events and tie the place together with some in-world history/lore.

I am absolutely BLOWN AWAY by Adventure Land, my goodness! The timelapse just shows how amazing of a terraformer you are. The talent you have is OUTSTANDING

I GASPED as you were doing the initial tour of the pathway and the elephant appeared! The way you built the trees and foliage to give little snapshots at just the right angle while hiding things from view elsewhere are Fantastic and that use of forced perspective might be the biggest thing that makes your base feel like a real, well-made, theme park! The picturesque glimpses of the volcano between the trees are masterfully done. It all looks AMAZING!!! (And for name ideas, how about Albert the Elephant? He just looks like he might be an Albert lol)

A comment which got my attention was having the elephant make noise when people come near it. Though I think to add to it, you should have like a jungle theme track with crickets, and other animals sounds to give it more of the adventure vibe! It was something I always enjoyed listening to when visiting the zoo. Keep up the work Scar!

I'm so impressed by that elephant! Looks so real, i wanna hug it, great job! Also, if you are taking suggestions, I would love to see giraffes. It seems fitting for the theme and it's just a really cool animal. Scarland never fails to amaze me!
