Yes! I was kinda hoping he *wouldnt* find it…as that would’ve been hilarious too. Which I’m sure there will be at least a few hermits who miss eggs either until they’re editing or once viewers point them out. I just feel bad for Scar with such a massive base with literally hundreds of little nooks perfect to hide eggs in! The tie breaker might should just be who can find the most eggs Scar missed in his base!😂😂

Man those chest eggs are evil. Still, I feel like most hermits will be too stubborn to not find all their eggs. It’d be funny if the tie breaker was between everybody. Maybe if there’s another hunt next year, there could be a time limit, adjusted roughly for base size. Or, points assigned for order found ie. first egg found gets 1 point, 2nd 2 points, etc and hermit with the most points wins.

Yeah.... there's a problem when you put things on frames on the ceiling. When you break them out they often go UP into the blocks above and just continue climbing until they hit air. I learned that trying to make ceiling maps.

Yep. I knew they could pop up onto the top of the block they’re placed on but didn’t know until recently that they will keep going until they reach air!🤦🏻‍♀️ I was working on my *VERY deep* 1.18 cave base which I had made a mural using maps for the ceiling on my bedroom. Yea…I lost several maps which popped through in random caves on the way up & some of the first ones ended up in the ocean my bedroom is apparently under…and were scattered by dolphins by the time I realized what was going on.🙄 Needless to say there is now a 1.5 block gap on top of my bedroom ceiling anywhere there is a map!! As well as in the ceiling of any room I also placed a mural!! I also learned to make *extra copies* of the maps…just in case. Since I ended up having to *remake* some of the artwork for several maps when I lost the first ones I made. Which cost me several hours I could’ve been doing something far more fun or at least constructive!😕🤦🏻‍♀️ It’s fun *creating* art but…not so much fun having to recreate it. Which this was *all in SURVIVAL mode* btw! Just thankful I still had all the block! As I had thought about just destroying the leaves I used & smelting some of the clay blocks to use for other projects…but thankfully decided to WAIT until I saw the finished result to make sure I didn’t have to go back to change anything!😓😓 I’m now working on the largest ceiling mural for the main hall & entrance way. I’m making massive artwork or just patterned ceilings for all the main living spaces similar to how it was during the peak Greek/Roman time period. The one I’m working on now is 200+ maps & bc the room isn’t squared off & bc it’s an artwork flowing design rather than a repeating pattern(like the other large rooms) it’s taking a REALLY long time to complete. As I’ve basically GOT to make each piece, place it & only then can I plan the next one.😵‍💫😵‍💫Once I get done with all the edges, around where the lights will hang & around where the staircase comes down….then I can work on multiple maps at once to fill in the spaces between. I’ve got an area set up in a MASSIVE ocean a few thousand block away where I can do up to 8 maps at a time. At the start I only had space made for 2 maps at a time but…that just does NOT work for larger spaces &/or edge pieces for anything except a small repeating pattern!! Which I also learned in my roughly 20x20 block bedroom! Really wish I was doing this on Java or rather on a computer period as a Timelapse of me placing the maps & revealing the artwork would be very satisfying!

I didn't think anyone would find impulse's eggs. I didn't realize two other hermits used the same technique and also that you could spot those eggs when you used the hiding spot.

it's a mix of both ;) if you find all the hermits eggs in your base you obviously decrase their score by 1 ... so more chance for you
