Doc: sorry I didn’t do much this episode. Also doc: shows us how slow and tedious it is to make 20 blocks of road and proceeds to make one around the entire perimeter. Not every week has to be an “I built an entire city in my perimeter” week. ❤

I'm blown away by the increasing complexity of the perimeter decoration. It's so much area to detail to such a fine degree. The torn up roads in the water really tie it together.

Doing those roads "random" like that takes so much energy. I know you said you're sorry for not a lot of progress, but your normal videos are over the top with how much you accomplish. One of the things I ask myself every episode is how is the perimeter grind sustainable for Doc? I hope you and Tango pair up next season and do something technically collaborative but fairly low grind early on in next season. You both deserve a reprieve. Massively looking forward to seeing the "Automation" revolution using the the auto crafters next season.

You with The Perimeter, Scar with Scarland, and Ren with Blue River Raceway have really been inspiring me to continue working on my creative city. I also have some small details that might add to the Perimeter if you don't mind. I was thinking maybe the Ancient Goat Civilization in its last days were doing small scale Redstone experiments in the Industrial area of the Perimeter. And second, maybe in between the roadways there could be some of those tomato trees growing in the water, might give some use to mangrove roots. Anyways sorry for the long comment, I can't wait to see what's next in the story.

Maybe for the main road you could use two goat statues on either side to create an arch. They’d stand on their hind legs and their front hooves would meet in the middle above the road.

I think if you let the dragon go for much longer it'll take a full episode to move it back lol One of the fun things about paths, to me, is that people don't always use them... often cutting across corners and stuff to take the quickest route to their destination, which result in "desire paths" forming

Decked out luck can be unforgiving at the very end. Pearl is probably a solid competitor to Etho. While some Hermits are dealing with there Secret Life side show(Still enjoying the series none the less) Doc is grinding away like a mad man. With builds is what I have learned: build one thing at a time don't become rushed. Easy to burn out with rushing things to a deadline. Here is my question for you: how much mob loot would the perimeter make if there was just one huge mob farm in the middle?

Perimeter idea: mob fighting arena. Maybe even a chicken fight? Set up an area that can spawn mobs at night, and have contestants bring in named iron golems. They want their iron golem to be the last one standing, but they can also chicken out by sleeping. Points: 10 - win by your golem being the survivor 7 - win by your opponent sleeping 5 - lose by sleeping 1 - lose by your golem dying

Gotta say, I like the style of the walkways that connect the houses to the ring road more than the style of the ring road itself. The rubble is just so spread out that, even though you know there must have been a walkway there, and you know the endpoints it connected, you have no idea where _exactly_ the walkway went. It brings back memories of visiting ruined castles as a kid. But then again, the rest of the perimeter is way better preserved than those castle ruins of my childhood, more akin to Pompeii and Herculaneum, which have clearly visible (actually still usable) streets, so I guess how the ring road looks right now is more appropriate.

Now I need to see Doc surfing a wave covering/destroying all the mobs in his way. Maybe the board being a repurposed piece of the ruins? I'm sure there is SOMETHING long and flat he could carve up into a neat board.

As much as I admire your commitment to the perimeter and I can see that you’re full heart into it… But I can also see the (arguably) best hermitcraft season ever is coming to an end. It’s ages ago since our GOAT exploited the game to its limits with crazy stuff we all love him for. I’m still pumped of your announcment that you’re working on an “instant-perimeter-contraption” or sth like that. That’s the stuff you’re standing out with. My feeling is, you’re keeping it all for yourself for now - well knowing that season 10 is on the way

Sad for your death by fire in decked out I'm not sure if you know but whenever you get on fire in Minecraft the best thing is to not move(well after getting out of the fire/lava) The more you move the longer you'll be on fire you'd most likely have survived if you stayed on the block near lava source Panic make us want to run away when on fire but once you stop moving you see fire stop quite quickly, just felt like saying it because the burning dark seems so full of lava.. hope that will help you

If you want the path's debry to have all types of stairs, slabs, and leaves, then I would suggest going through the whole path randomly (but sparingly) placing one type of block at a time and then going through it again for each type. This is easier and will (probably) save you time because you wont have to go through your hotbar every time you want to place a diffrent type of block. The only down side to this method is that you wont see what the path will look like untill its finished, but you can allways remove blocks later if there are too many or make any other adjustments. Obviously do what works for you, but I thought this could be helpfull 😁. Honestly having a sort of "break episode" is a good thing because if you get used to the "hyper grindy docm77" your amazing builds will seem less impresive, so this break it will make the next episode more exiting!

I just remembered, last video you asked about how to integrate the Perimeter with Scarland. I suggested making the old path of destruction from the volcano to the Perimeter with old cold lava, I saw someone suggesting a viewing platform for visitors of Scarland to see the Perimeter. I think it would be interesting to do both, making the old lava-flow with a viewing platform that goes over it.

I haven't watched this episode yet because I'm too busy traveling the world and making my own Minecraft series, but I can't help to follow the G.O.A.T... you are the only Minecraft channel i watch and it's due to your delivery. Coming from the god of hardcore Minecraft, you are definitely the only other gamer on my level, and in your own way. You and the hive mind are an insane team. Doc - why not build a tall object in the middle of the perimeter to relocate the dragon to. Maybe build a goat mother statue to enclosure your drowned farm and TCG arena - hopefully that way it drifts less and if it does it might drift back to the centre of your perimeter as you work on different locations. I know that the season is likely coming to an end as it is generally around 2 years per season on average but just a thought if you think you have time. Either way you are the G.O.A.T and that has nothing to do with Grind, Optimise, Automate or Thrive. DocM77 fan for life.... 👍
