hey doc, Did you know that if you wear a creeper head that creeper detection range to the player wil half? You can stack this with an invis potion to get an other 30% (if wearing full armor) detection range decreace. If you wear a creeperhead and drink invis creepers wil see you from 5,6 blocks instead of 16 blocks.

Can't you use invisibility potion so that creepers will not be falling on you? (I don't know the range, but it could maybe prevent that from happening again). Congrats on 10 years and thanks for everything over the years ;)

I believe mobs still detect you if you're wearing armor or are wielding an item. Doc obviously needs the latter

@@romanwilliams4133 haven't played in a while but decided to Google it. Apparently invisibility reduces a mob's detection range to just 7% and every item of armor increases the range with 17.5% (no mention of tools). The risk might be worth it since 7% is a couple blocks maximum

Addition to the mining protocol: USE a special resource pack which highlights the ores! Then you can just fly through the space in front of the machine and speed up the process of finding the ores!
