Welcome, KZbin Minecraft viewer, to Hermitcraft Season 9! I am a proud member of Hermitcraft, and this will be my sixth season on this amazing Minecraft SMP server!
Hermitcraft is a Minecraft SMP server featuring some of KZbin's best and most talented Minecrafters. The server is Minecraft Vanilla 1.19! This is the ninth season of Hermitcraft, and we will be living in a starter village with our fellow Hermits!

Wht does chunk loaded mean?

@@eitakou to not crash computers, minecraft only loads the part of the world you are closest to while the rest of the world remains unloaded. Mobs will not spawn in unloaded chunks. Redstone will also not work in unloaded chunks. Doc keeps the perimeter "chunk loaded" to keep his farms running. But that also made the chickens spawn the entire time.

If I remember correctly, the wording was "PLEASE can I blow up your base" 😂 as soon as Mumbo put the idea in Scar's head, he flipped it around to ask Mumbo if he could. I wouldn't doubt if he would have paid Mumbo for the privilege rather than getting paid

So Grian has touched Doc's redstone to start a civil war, attacked Area 77 with the hippie van, attacked Octagon with boat lag, blown up a tunnel bore, and now the answer to the question how many chickens is too many. I don't know how he's going to top this one but somehow I believe he will.

It is funny to hear that Ren doesn't want to over-do his king persona because the viewers hate it, I was already following Ren but when his king shenanigans started, I was watching every video. I loved that story line so much, it was so much fun!

Ironically this episode felt like Rendog was in an actual TCG match. First Ren uses Roleplay on Cubfan to mimic his “Let’s Go!” Move to try to complete the parkour, and then swiftly went AFK afterwards. Rendog then caught up with Doc and used Roleplay again to take Doc’s “World Eater” move to use against Poultryman for double damage. Then XB comes in hot and fast with “Noice” ignoring any effects Rendog might have had, and Keralis comes in with the “Sweet Face” to heal him back up for 100. And then, Zedaph shows up, so Rendog uses “Roleplay” on his “Sheep Stare” move to get Zedaph fired at by the skeletons. And next we hear that Rendog is going to use “Roleplay” to mimic Cleo’s “Pupperty” to get involved in the Museum conflict. And finally Rendog uses “Roleplay” on Mumbo’s proposal of “Quite Simple” asking to blow up his base. And got tails on both coin flips.

I honestly loved the King Ren arc. You did so much amazing community service for the server while also turning it into one of the coolest story arcs the server has ever seen, and went out in an epic mini-game blaze of glory. I don't know how anybody could have been annoyed by that.

​technically Doc poked The Poultry, sure Grian and Scar started this, but Doc took it to another level, he implicated 3rd parties like Zed(sure it was Grian who did it, so why did Doc try to frame him) and Mumbo who's entrance to his base he blew up. This was Grian's I mean Poultry man's first rebuttal to Doc.

King Ren's shenanigans was some of my favorite stuff this season. Actually, anytime Ren does some snazzy medieval type lore stuff (thinking back to The Red King) it puts a huge smile on my face lol.

These distractions show why proximity mod was such an amazing choice for Hermircraft. Sneaking up on cub and hearing him search for the warped wood, Keralis and xB popping up out of nowhere. All the others could've been scheduled without a problem, but these moments just make everything even better

I know of exactly three people who have ever gotten our dear Pesky Bird to admit defeat and they were working together (Big Eyes Crew, HC8, the Ravager Incident) You guys are going to have to go all out because rest assured the opposition will do exactly that, and if you don't match them you will be destroyed in a feathery cloud of terror. Lolol watched Mumbos episode of him blowing up his base. Then jumped over to Grians episode of him spawning 10,000 chickens at Docs. Then watched Doc trying to get rid of all of the chickens for literal hours. Then watched Cub and then had to see what Cleo got from Ren at her museum. And then FINALLY saw Ren completing a bunch of side quests with the other hermits lol. Love how everyone interacts!

Yes, there are some scripted stuff, sure, but the majority of HC is them providing awesome entertainment - even if they have to acknowledge the audiences' response openly! In the 90's, some shops that was selling CD's, had a "play station" (not the console) with multiple disks, and you could select which disk & track to listen too, really nice thing & I kind of miss it. That would work great in the music shop. Alternatively, it could just continuously play a random disk, I saw a design on KZbin a while ago, but don't remember the title :/
