So pleased to see you using paints I now have, rather than new ones I'd have to get. You realise you're costing me a fortune?! 😂

Nooooo! You can use ANY paint haha 😂 I'm glad you have them to colour match this one, I hope its been a positive purchase 💀

@@notyourmothershobbies Don't worry, it's all good. This is a brand new hobby for me, and I have to start somewhere. I bought the game last year for less than £50. I didn't realise then, that I would spend ten times as much on paints, brushes, magnifiers, and other bits and pieces! Oh, not to mention the (so far) four expansion sets I've since bought!

Great job! You have a follower in Spain that you are giving a hand to. There is another HQ in Madrid that looks like yours do 😂. Thanks so much for inspiring, and keep doing it for ages!!! Frostgrave, Talisman,...who knows?!

Woohoo! The world reach is real! Haha that's so cool haha. Welcome welcome! Frostgrave sounds AWESOME lolol I would love to do a new warband. And the new Talisman...oooo boi, I had no idea it was even coming. Perhaps my 4th edition goes to the "donation bin" ;) Who knows!!!!

Excellent work. I paint my goblins lighter green and orcs a bit darker. For bosses I used darker tones of green with browns and reds. I used the Games Workshop concepts of the 2000's (bigger = stronger = and greener)

That's a cool idea, I didn't know about that :0 Yet I've seen quite a few WAAAGH armies with awesome variance in green shades so that's some sick reference for sure.

Quite recently I've taken to painting Orcs with "normal", more human-like flesh tones and boy do they look disconcerting. Great stuff as always, I'm very slowly making my way through my core set minis atm, just finished the goblins and they're looking great, even if I do say so myself.

BAHAHAH its worth the experiment I think. What about green undertones with fleshy layers built up? That's awesome. Keep it up :) You'll be surprised by the end heheh

Great paint jobs. Love the red for the male and green for the female. I was painting a Fomoroid Crusher the other day and just making mistakes and repeating your mantra about: if you make mistakes… just clean it up! I love how practical and straightforward your approach is. I think you only used a dozen paints, but the result looks way richer and more complex than that.
@notyourmothershobbies7 ай бұрын
Hahah thanks! I'm so happy to hear that! It's definitely just paint :) So you noticed ;p I use a lot of the same paints but with some simple techniques (like you've seen) you can achieve more variation than you could've thought. Thanks so much for commenting!

Nice! Thanks for posting your red skin method! I have some green, red and gray orcs Been trying to work out your red method for a bit!

There are so many thingy details on this figure, I keep my Orcs green, maybe try blackish later.

Yeah I feel like it's over designed haha. These could be a good candidate for a simple dry brush NMM to cut down on the "bling"
