Nothing at all!! I saved a woman $2k in gift cards. She was clearly on the phone being coached. Convincing her not to buy the cards took over 30mins & the scammer was so rude and just kept calling her over and over while I’m trying to seriously get her to believe me and not do it. The next week I had a meeting with our head Loss Prevention boss & he scolded me about missing that sale. He Tried to make it seem as though the customer could’ve sued us for denying her sale. He basically told me when I see it happening I can make them aware warn them once if they proceed it’s no longer our issue. I was pissed the F off. Lol

You know something it's funny seeing this woman helping this man from getting scammed but when I was going through this exact situation of a fake IRS and I went to a Walmart store to get the gift card they said to me in the phone and in front of a Walmart employee not a single employee noticed that I was being scammed or even tried to stop me from getting tricked I lost 8k last year from that scammed

She def deserves a promotion & raise, maybe to help teach the Co workers how to spot a scam the way she did. And Walmart should've given her a nice big bonus so her Christmas is blessed too. My grandma got this call a few years ago, same thing, the scammer even called by my name. "Hi grandma its Michael, I got into a car accident and need money". Luckily she was smart enough to call my mom first to ask if I was okay and see how bad it was, and we were both like uh wat?

if anyone calls you about being arrested and need money sent for bail, the first thing you need to do is find out what jail their being held at call said jail and ask if they are there and if so call a bailbondsmen and have them deal with it

Scammers can be tricky and you should help give advice on how to detect the signs and ask the right questions. I don't think this was completely done in this story.

I was scammed on my Walmart account for 7k. Someone who was a thief shoped 35 radios with a not legit seller. I called wells fargo and Walmart immediately june10 after catching the transactions.I was not able to cancel orders right away because seller had shipped quick. My case is pending and i’m so nervous.

If l ever received a phone call saying, one of my grandkids needed to be bailed out of jail for a DUI... My reply would have been, “Let the little asshole sit in jail, he/she shouldn’t of been driving drunk! I’m sorry but, there’s just certain things that this Grandma won’t bail you out of jail for and driving drunk is one of them! Thank goodness for that wonderfully sweet woman, my hat’s off to you Miss Audrella! Seriously, Walmart you could have given your employee a bonus and made her “Employee of The Month”! I’m pretty sure she would have appreciated it a more than your pat on the back. Especially, since a Walmart Customer Service Rep only makes $10.66 an hour! (C.S. Manager only $12.73 an hour!) ***I got my information on Walmart’s own website... You just have to type in whichever City or State you’re looking for and selection the job title and it tells you their starting hourly rate of pay. Walmart you’re only second to Amazon in online sales... So why don’t you open up those purse strings and give all of your employees a living wage! You cheap bastards!
