Map: Ragnar's Quest 2 - At World's End
This video shows how I sometimes change my strategy during the game to win the fight. Computer has Power of the Dragon Father, that means I can't cast spells less than level 5 and thus the game becomes more interesting!

My dad used to play this game he was the best. He once got into this massive fight which he won and came out from the fight with just one arch devil. The most interesting part was that my dad's single arch devil was up against a single enemy war unicorn. Both sides were out of spell points so it was up to the units.

I love it how all of your 13k+ griffins and archers, and even the 3-6k zealots and champs and swordsmen only killed 100+ devils each, then there come 2k archangels and kill 1000. The hate is strong with the AAs lol

Nice vid, some big battles there ^^ And i learned another thing: you can resurrect endless with archangel clones (maybe until you don't use resurrect with your real archangels?)

This is tough fight indeed. I was figuring it out very long time till i found the way how to do (i had no Tactics) At the end i did it thanks to frenzy/dummy stack of Evil Eyes/Sacriface :P

It can be good to attack a strong enemy unit with a weak stack first like that, so they waste their retaliation on them and don't have it for your stronger stacks

не было бы мощи отца драконов, битва была бы простейшей, ослепить, убить остальных, защиту до нуля, замедление, баф своих войск, в конце ещё ослепить, воскреситься и добить)

***** That's good. I think the official maps are really entertaining, and some typical maps like "The lord of war", "Sander's Folly", "To kill for power" and "Fountain of Doom". They are all good entertaining maps^^. Not many skills or tactics needed.

***** That's right. The pvp game is the real challenge because the strategy keeps changing. I played with my friends before, and learned a lot from them (and still keep learning by now). That's why I said I am not the expert of HoMM3, it's still far to go for me.

***** Yes, also in the pvp game, scouting is also a good skill to open the map. More vision will provide you more info of this map. And in typical case, we need expert navigation and path finding to increase our movement skill.

а что будет если у тебя артефакт, который увеличивает количество раундов твоей магии и ты кастанешь силовое поле? он же держится 1 раунд, после чего исчезает. а после артефактов он будет держаться 2-3 раунда?

What would be if you cast slow to the devils? In my opinion that would be the easiest way of victory.

the enemy had an artifact that prevented ALL level 1-4 spells to be cast upon his army. Therefore no slow (or any other level 1 to 4 spell) is possible to use in this game on enemy troops. I know that you've posted this 4 years ago, but... I have nothing better to do anyway, so I'll keep replying to dead comments :)

не подскажете , как справится гарнизоном, полным стеков, каждый из которых с 9999 лазурными драконами? когда они ударяют, то сносят мою армию с первого же удара)) карта Legiony potworow) + ко всему героя дали не очень, нет расстановки войск в начал боя, нет магии огня для берсерка, из магии только магия земли))

если стандартный гарнизон то можешь использовавать "силовое поле" в связке сильные стрелки + лазурный дракон. если забьешь стрелков в угол и прикроешь их лазурным рядом (или на худой конец парочкой архидьяволов ускоренных артами) и силовым полем спереди то они до тебя не доберуться и ты сможешь сильно прорядить охрану. берсерк даже на единичках хорош, главное - чтобы маны было много.

Надо конечно пробовать. Но мне кажется прям очень странно сыграл. Первая магия замедление. И расстреливаешь все его воиска. Второе ослепление. Если ослепления нет то можно сделать то же самое но после замедления которое даст один ход стрельбы и возможность потом от этого дьявола убегать. Я уже молчу про силовые поля и стратегии связанные с ними.

No, that happened before but didn't grant me victory. I won because I hid Archangels from the Devils' strike in the first turn.

There is a very dump strategy by using Force Field and Clones. Boring but I think it will work.

Force Field is not directly used on Dragons. Just block the enemy's direct attack. But in this fight it maybe be harder to use, since all hell creatures are size 1.But still I think it might work. Force Field will be very effective to block size 2 enemy which I have tried in large scale fight (Jedi Story).

+XuseFans No you don't get it^^ The enemy hero has a dragon set, which allows to use only 5th spells. This is why he couldn't use any lower magic

I guess what you mean is the artifact called "Dragon Father" or somethings which blocks Level 1 - 4 magics. But I think that artifact only blocks direct magic against their troops. Force Field is a ground magic which is not targeting on a particular troop and could be used. I might be wrong though, haven't try this against Inferno's creatures.

Power of Dragon Father make troops immune to Level 1-4, he couldn't blind Devils, so tried driffrent methods to reduce them as max as possible. and Force Field won't protect Angels from Devils, because they are 2hex.

мне но пришлось изголиться и собирать армию большее количество времени. Играл на Хоте поэтому к этой битве мне удалось собрать более 300 лазурок 2500 архов, вдобавок мне удалось присоединить два максимальных отряда чемпионов у замка где граф кит сидел, в результате их у меня было более 12к. далее можно примерно представить сколько было остальх
