In the upcoming episodes featuring Conflux, would you like to see it with weekly phoenix growth of 4 (normal heroes complete) or with HotA's weekly growth of 3?

300, 400 is the original montly growth of the Phoenix but with that growth Conflux would just wreck everybody, 300 will be more interesting.

Castle is the original strongest town and still no chance against unbalanced Conflux. Archangel did a heroic last stand though.

Conflux is ridiculously strong, Phoniex' growth and the other units special abilities are crazy. Would be interesting to see Conflux vs Tower..

Yeah probably. I wrote that because in those battles the AI seems to forget about Titans and maybe a good stack of them will remain and they will take the remaining Conflux units out.

Yeah i noticed that the AI absolutely dont know how to play against Titans lol. First it block Titans in round one which is nice but then the creautre who did it will eat dmg from every unit which is bad and then they move away and give them free shot with full range lol. What should faster factions do is outwait Titans in round one so Titans will get one free shot but with half range and in the end of turn attack them and block them so in turn 2 they attack first and never move away from Titans. And outside Titans and Nagas Tower have nothing. The AI also plays really bad with faster unit. For instance unit with spd 9 goes first and instead of wait it go all the way in and enemy slower unit with spd 7 then can reach the faster unit in turn one and attack first lol.

It is difficult enough to determine the strength of factions, with the help of such battles. Much more important is the strategy and tactics of the player. Although the Conflux - is not in vain considered unbalanced and excluded from the tournaments...

What about Necropolis ? In such battles they would be the weakest , but with necromancy and eventually Cloak of Undead King ... I think Necropolis gets in top 1 unbalanced .

When I would test the strength of a town. What I did is give them one mine of each, then have them meet at an appointed time. Sure, conflux has higher growth but can it realistically afford them in a game? But that's just me.

And not use 560 griffins to attack 6 sprites and then get killed afterwards. All the AI is doing is making poor low-risk decisions which cause it to lose. Like running from the Chaos Hydras and letting them destroy everything with no pressure, or wasting high level units' turns on war machines because they can't hit back.

The only thing that makes Conflux OP are the Phoenixes. 2x bigger weekly growth + the ressurection and 21 spd.

The rebirth ability gives the player 80 extra phoenixes! So in total technically castle has to beat 480 of these birds! LOL

Well, the resurrect ability brought back 146 champions as well, which is arguably just at powerful as 80 Phoenix

I don't know what's the point of bringing conflux into 100 week unit growth contest. Their town is specifically designed to eventually outnumber you with double level 7 growth, giving them 100 weeks of free stacking and them trying to beat them with your stacks would never happen in any game because every player knows that you need to end the game against conflux before the late game... and if it did somehow happen obviously conflux would stomp any other town, it's what they do.

Nice video, but some bad mistakes here and there. obviously every faction has its pro's and con's in early ,mid and late game. but there also was no spell casting in this one. and if u take black dragon with spell immunity vs a arch angel with no spell casting, that would be pretty much a waste of time to showcase.

3 phoenixes make conflux pretty well balanced, and HotA does plenty of other great additions, like making melee always an option for ranged units, making inferno more balanced and the ocean more fun.

In Heroes of Might and Magic 2 ? I wouldn't be that sure . At least in the mobile version where necropolis has some decent units and necromancy isn't that OP .

Hmm the knights in H2 can be deadly in shorter games and with less resources because they are cheap. It's somewhat similar in H1. Though, yeah they are probably overall weakest.

If AI Ogre Magi can use Bloodlust, why doesn't Archangels ever use Resurrection. If they used that and there were 100 less Phoenizes(as it shoud be) the result would be so much different.

the battle isnt very fair due to the fact that u use 400 firebirds/phoenixs instead of 200. I know that their grow is 4 every weeks but thats in SoD. As i know you are using HotA. In HotA their stats are more ballanced and also their grow is 2 every week not 4. So the battle is not right. With hota you must use them as 200 (and you are using hota) and in SoD you must use them like 400.

I never like conflux, the design of the units is terrible ( sprite and magic elementals are looks like shiet) and its just too op.
