that's because he was just the best tier 1 creature from the best town ever. So he really needed the improvement (sarcasm) :) And before anyone contradicts me, saying that Rampart is not the best town ever, let me say this: Castle is out of the question because Archangels are a cheat creature, and Necro is also out of the question because necromancy is a cheat racial ability. So, leaving the cheats aside, Rampart is truly the best town in the entire history of HoMM (best tier 3 archer, best defensive unit, best tier 1 creature, best heroes - diplomacy, logistics, armorer, resistance). Ok, Fortress might rival it in terms of armorer and creature abilities, but Rampart has the heroes on its side (Kyrre, Throgrim, Ryland, Mephala, even Clancy and Ivor are ok)

It's basically rushing through map to find any place with 8 tier creatures and then steamrolling oponnents with your super powerful Antichri- I mean some archdevil thing. Takie małe przemyślenia: - animacje i wygląd ulepszeń pozostawiają wiele do życzenia, są toporne i pixele się nakładają, - kilka upgradów nie mają kompletnie sensu (Gnoll Marauder>Rogue, serio? To już raczej Gnoll Marauder>Werewolf miałby więcej sensu) - spora część tych upgradów otrzymuje bonusy najniższego pułapu lenistwa, typu "Shoots twice", nie ma jakichś ciekawych rozwiązań - zamiast dodać gównianym jednostkom jakieś odkupujące właściwości/skille (np. teleportacja + trochę speeda dla Enta), to w większości widzę zwykły retex - jedyny jasny punkt tego moda to ten retex Enta, który wygląda bardzo fajnie, a jednostka sama w sobie pozostaje na poziomie chłopa - a, no i ta Smoczoharpia to dalej durny pomysł imo, zbyt op, nawet w porównaniu z innymi ulepszonymi siódemkami Trochę to wygląda jak lenistwo albo brak pomysłów i strach przed ingerowaniem w balans gry. Nie ma śpieszcie się z wydawaniem tego moda ^^ PS: dostałem raka kilka razy przez te połatane tłumaczenie gry.

To mój mod sprzed 8 lat. :) Takie były czasy, nie było HotA, Ery, VCMI, programów itd. Dodanie czegokolwiek było naprawde trudne. Skrypty ERM nie należą do najprostszych. Wersja na filmiku pochodzi z Ery (ktoś przekonwertował mój stary mod na nowy silnik). Stąd miejscami błędy językowe i w niektórych wypadkach nawet mechaniczne - nie wiem czemu jednostki mają złe dźwięki i brak im niektórych umiejętności.

That is why Horn of the Abyss stands out - they really make authentic art, and on a quality level on par with original game assets. When HotA came out, I was reluctant to even try it, expecting to see just some more color-switched units with crazy unbalanced abilities and a menu with pages of options WoG-style - everything mod developers could think of and just because they can.

@@ivankuzin8388 i think wog is kinda cool. Yeah some ideas are crazy but you can just deactivate them. unit experience is super cool, the henchmen option is cool, the commander is awesome, two extra hero skills is nice. It's a really fun mod

When what you want is just some new quality content, without much options, where all the decisions were already made for you by the developers, HotA is your only option :) And the art design, of course, Wog is really just color-switching for the most part.

Inferno is pretty weak overall anyway, so why make it even worse? Good thing at least that 2 of my favorite H3 creatures have not been "improved": the mighty cows, and the magic elementals. I respect the work that was done by the author, but wtf I have just seen? Broccoli - Dendroid, Raptors, thiefs... oh damn... I've played one interesting map yesterday I am so so so sorry I can not recognize its name. It was "Gelu`s pride" or something like this.. In that scenario Gelu is coming "home" and the elves are angry on him, because of a fight with Kilgor (Armagedons Blade and Sword of Frost). Most of the time we have Ramparts as a castle. After that Gelu decides to become an avenger, because he was angry that every elf shows no respect on him. He had turned his unicorns into "nightmares", sharpshooters into "lawa sharpshooters" and "Gold dragons" into "Black dragons".That script had a new Dungeon-castle with "new" units called "assassins-fraction" with : - Troglodite ->> rogue; - Harpies ->> Lawa Snipers; - Beholder ->> War Zealots; - Medusa ->> Nightmares; - Minotaur ->> Black Dragon; - Manticore - >> Dark Dragon (wog) -Black Dragon ->> As it is (or something, can not remember) And that was PERFECT. Why dont create a fraction like this? Why does authror needs to change something, that should not be changed in HOMM 3?

Some of this are funny as hell, others not so much: Centaur upgrade is lazy, horned demons were turned into furries, efreet *sultan* looks more like a doom64 demon, and so on. Reckon Necropolis has some nice upgrades.

Najlepiej jest narzekać nie mając pojęcia jak wiele pracy to kosztowało za którą nikt nie płaci. Jak jesteście tacy mądrzy to czemu sami nie zrobicie lepszego moda, droga otwarta, narzędzia są, trochę chęci i ambicji a nie tylko siedziec na fotelu i gadać jakie to jest złe. Mi sie podoba, pograłbym z chęcią, swietna inicjatywa dodająca świeżosci do rozgrywki, a słysząc ze trwają prace nad doskonalszą wersją trzymam kciuki:))

Titan original speed is 11 not 8 and att 24 and def 24. Original stats should be used but additional upgrade are good idea. I watched again and yes speed of units in heroes 3 should be nerfed.

Ja dowódcą w korzystnej sytuacji z dodatkiem wog i kilkoma artefaktami i ustawionym odpowiednim bohaterem(ale też bez przeróbki podstawowych umiejętności do 99) po miesiącu rasowania jestem w stanie rozwalić armię z 2 miesięcy zbierania(właściwie to jeszcze podrasowane bo zamiast 7 to 8 poziom z wog- czyli z poziomów i ilość: 8- 16 ,6-32,5-48(64 enty),4-64,3-ok. 80,2ok.100 ,1ok. 300. Pojedyńczych stworów- 1 poziomu bym pokonał bez problemu z 3000.Dodam że to bez ustawienia dowódcy podrasowanego w ustawieniach wog.

Oj, to bardzo stary mod. Robiłem go z Kuririnem 8 lat temu. :) Teraz tworzymy analogiczny od nowa, ale budynki już będą miały swoje odzwierciedlenie w ekranie miasta, będzie aż 7 ulepszen na miasto i same jednostki też będą miały lepszą jakość. Zachęcam do ogladania filmików. ;)

first create a backup of your game aka copy and paist all the files in some new folder away from the original then use most likely 7zip to put the mod files into the originals folder some mods have a instaler some you just throw in the game folder (sometimes in newer games they have a mod folder even if that fails delite and use the copy you made to restore your game to base working

unbalancing even more... it is good to have options though, also, we really need more "balancing" mods, level 7, and 8, are ridiculously overpowered in vanilla, why to make them even more powerful...? I've played many games banishing level 7 creatures and were more challenging, with more value to low level units, allowing even more types of strategies, the mod that achieves that sensation would be among the bests.
