Thank you! It's hard trying to keep them reasonably-powered, as I see many instantly stacking 20-30 powers on for the heck of it, LOL!

There's a power, I think it's Doppelganger or Clone, something like I don't have my book with me, that allows one to duplicate oneself at half strength. So like a level 4 character can make a level 2 clone. You'd also round down, so a level 3 would make a level 1 clone. This might work better than the Shield.

True, but a clone would be capable of independent action it sounds like from your description, whereas these are used to just block an incoming attack, but are shattered quickly as shown in the movies/games
