Supervisor is also the pirate captain, no new republic characters will be in this. The planet is from the OLD republic and has been shut off from the outside for 1000’s of years just making old republic credits and filling the vaults. They have been very obvious in calling the credits from the old republic for the entire show, or the people from AtAtan just call them credits.

My top tier is anything andor, i like star wars shows overall and just enjoy them as is and find some entertainment in it... minus rise of Skywalker. I love seeing folks just enjoying the ride instead of complaining all the time. I have to say i genuinely love the Skeleton Crew s1 so much and put it up there with Andor and Mando s1 in terms of writing and overall joy I find in watching it.

Just realized - the buoy got thru. So it’s not the ship itself but the access code they mention when prepping the buoy. So all Jod needs is the access code. And the parents have it. At least it’s in the buoy which is now outside the barrier.

I've said this on some other reaction/reviews, but what if At-Attin is knowingly or unknowingly the source of Palpatine's funds for the eventual First Order fleet? And he destroyed the other At-planets to keep exposure and the risk of discovery to a minimum (maybe as part of Operation Cinder)? And the supervisor is some minion of Palpatine ensuring Palps gets his money to bankroll all the ships and infrastructure for the FO?

This one really felt like an Amblin movie with how serious and dark it got with Jod’s heel turn; movies like E.T and Goonies went there with those kids and glad this show went the same direction. I am really hoping they don’t redeem Jod and just keep him the antagonist. The face he had when he was looking at the credits and the glee he had as he let them rain on his head I was like, “this guy!!!”😤😅 I also believe that this all has to lead to a rebellion on At Attin…this is why we need a season 2 or a continuation somewhere down the line.

I'm thinking that they've been just making credits all this time waiting for a Republic ship to come pick them up. Because they are isolated and no outward communication, they don't know that the Republic has been wiped out and that the delivery routes were lost (like forgetting a locker combo). They're just doing their jobs like their parents before them. I think that the 'Supervisor' is either long dead or a droid, and that the announcement when the ship arrived is recorded. This would explain why there wasn't any inflection of "where have they been all this time, they're showing up now?" in the tone. A droid wouldn't care that hundreds of years of passed with no apparent contact, they would just continue their protocols until they rusted.

You seem to think the new republic know this is here. My understanding is they lost contact. Khymm confirmed they didn't know where it was. Hence the landing strip had grassed over. The Emissary would come to pick up credits but had not forgotten centuries. We haven't seen Alfred Molina's character again so I think the supervisors voice is a wizard of Oz ruse. Tak Rennod was the same species as Hondo ( stills of the holo mage tend to confirm that). I would like it to be him as he was a fun character especially with children. He could be Rennods descendent.

I think the only realistic connection character to bring in would be someone representing the New Republic, that K'ymm brought into the picture, at the very end, just to connect it to the timeline. I could see, for example, General Hera Syndulla showing up, as a representative of the New Republic to make first contact (or the Chimera appearing over the planet, just before the screen fades to black, to tie it into a story line - I could see Thrawn figuring Atattin's secret out).

i still have the feeling, the Sceleton Crew was NOT unprepaired....they maybe know him even better than the pirats. My peronal wish: Pirats on the fregatte: "WHAT is this? What are they doing here??" I like Hector's point about this show not ending on a grim note and leaving a bad taste in Wim's mouth about heroes and Jedi--I still have hope for a Jod redemption, even if the scene with him and the kids on the ship absolutely broke me. I remember right around the time the first episode aired there was an actress listed on IMDB credited as playing a character named 'Jedi [x] Na Nawood' who is no longer there (I can't remember the actress' name, it wasn't anyone I recognized)--but I keep thinking about it and the fact IMDB updates with new characters after very episode and can't help but wonder if we really will get some Jod backstory next week.

I think they should have been able to get home until a season 2 and I feel like they should have ended with them defeating Jude law cause no on would suspect he could be beaten by kids. And we see who the planet ruler is in the end but the kids need help getting home and a map in season 1 but feel like they should need help vs pirates and I don't like they just get home without seeing one good force user so Neals dream isn tainted by Laws character of his dreams

I agree with Agustin. I don't think this is the type of show to have Jod be the only example of a Jedi or force user for Wim. That would leave "a bad taste" in his mouth. Although, MAYBE, Jod could redeem himself, maybe. I do expect the appearance of a greater tie-in character than the pirate from Mando s3. I don't want it to be Luke. I'd personally love Ahsoka, but it's okay if it's not her. I'm down for Carson Teva or someone at that level or a previously seen droid. I'm expecting it, because....Star Wars. If it doesn't happen, that's cool. It only now occurred to me one the kids could actually be force sensitive; but, typically, they would've shown signs of that from an early age. With one episode left, this feels like they planned a second season or will publish tie-in books to tell more stories. Anything could happen in Star Wars.

Only if they bleed the crystal, like in the Acolyte. The crystal doesn't just change cause of your actions, otherwise Anakin's would have turned red. You have to focus all of your anger and hatred into the crystal, forcing it to "bleed" and become red.
