Story tip: Bigger is basically never better when it comes to threats, it's basically always the opposite. The bigger the star destroyer the less attached you get, and the more worlds that get destroyed the less attached you are and the less audience cares. An adult threatening 4 kids we like will always feel more dangerous than an army destroying 5 planets we barely know.

Agreed, it was the scene that really made me realise how great of an actor Jude Law is. He played the swaggering swashbuckling pirate so well in the earlier episodes, gradually showing more and more cracks in his facade until now, when it all finally comes down. And somehow they managed to make a blue lightsaber feel more menacing than the red ones we've seen in Disney Plus shows!

Jude Law has acted his ass off in this show & the kids have matched him scene for scene! The kid who plays wimm has got such perfect comedy delivery, the "too invincible" line last episode was such a silly child like line, that will stick with me. I honestly have no idea how next week will play out. I don't think Jod will be our stereotypical loveable rouge. He may have been Captain Hook the whole time.

When the Onyx Cinder is coming into land and we hear the Supervisors voice, it was definitely Stephen Fry doing the voice.

The ship the kids came home in is the Onyx Cinder. Rennod said in his log that the ship was"fully armored" to go to At Attin. So when they used the "emergency hull demolition sequencer" it removed the armor, leaving just the ship itself.

Possibly, but he'd need to do something to piss off his crew first. Right now, he's just taken them to more treasure than all of them has ever seen combined. He could betray them and try to keep it for himself, but that would be pretty dumb given the amount of treasure.

I loved that you guys noticed that 33 made a choice, and that the pirate code is a guide, which is even mentioned by Keith Richards in Pirates of the Caribbean. I'm still hoping that they have a school roof gun that it'll be used against the pirates, and maybe Jod will apologize at the end and listen to Neel about just saying you're sorry.

The 2 best moments of the episode for me: The silence (wish it lasted another beat or two) after the scout fighter got ripped apart by the barrier. "Maybe we should send it another." And Brutus launches out of his chair and pushes Jod toward the airlock, lol. And then the shot of Captain Silvo saying telling Fern that her claiming the ship won't work and SM-33's fist entering from stage right into Silvo's helmet, haha. Great episode.

I liked Acolyte…but this show “blows it out of the water”!!! Skeleton Crew is special. Every actor (child and adult) is doing an amazing job, and the story is just so fun, well written, and unpredictable in a way that Star Wars often falls short of.

I think the fact he semi gently kicked it to the side, instead of just stomping on it or punting it away, is a sign there is still some good in him. He isn’t completely irredeemable yet. And if it is based off Treasure Planet then it would make sense Jod will realize he cares for Wim and have a change of heart at the last moment.

My theory is that Jod's a Bokken Jedi, someone who was briefly trained by an order 66 survivor who was then killed by the Empire. As for Tak Rennod's mysteriously missing face and the mysterious supervisor who's never been seen, they might just be red herrings, they might not, but my gut tells me that this show has at least one last twist waiting in this last episode, we'll see.

Think of it, a small ship like the Onyx Cinder was originally thought of as large enough for transport. The sister planets might very well have been destroyed in the past to save the galactic economy! Ok, yes, a whole planet made of pure gold would actually be peanuts compared to the size of our non-fictional galaxy. But Star Wars was never realistic in its dimensions.

The kids trusted him, maybe still holding out on some hope that he was just bluffing (because I know I'd think the same when I was a kid). Anyway, they acted their ass off I love this show sm. god i love this show so much, definitely some of my favorite star wars. now, here are some predictions... jod is using magnets. just my opinion. we saw kumail do "jedi tricks" in kenobi. fern said it could be alot of things, but she also mentioned magnets. ive only seen him use "the force" on metallic objects. and only with one hand, which he wears a glove on. gonna be a reveal. the supervisor is probably Tak Rennard. We didnt see his face in the holo recording, only heard his voice. id have to go back and listen because im not sure. but. when we heard the supervisors voice for the announcement, its possible it was his. i think so because of those two moments. no face, only his voice, giving a clue. the supervisor, no face only his voice. the supervisor of this treasure planet mint. the kids found his ship, out in the forest, crash landed, no one on board alive, no Tak Rennard. he made it to at attin and has taken the treasure. let me know what yall think

A theory: The Empire actively continued the Republic's oversight of At Attin, but found it more useful to keep its already prodigiously productive population in the dark about the change in management; claiming the occasional ship that came to collect a shipment of credits was from the Republic. As they were losing the war, they scrubbed any data about At Attin from the Imperial Archives, in order to keep the incoming New Republic in the dark - and so they could secretly fund the construction of the First and Final Order fleets using At Attin's vast reserves.
