I think the vow that banishes boons would have helped a lot. Thinning out the pool will force gods to offer exchanges, which would translate to more heroic boons.

true… but also could lead to possibly locking yourself out of exchanges too, or just using more rolls to get the boons you want excluded

The other thing it does is narrow the pool for you to constantly re-take Bridal Glow if you remove it via purging wells or King's Ransom. Example being - you get bridal glow, then eventually run out of Hera boons, then sell or lose Bridal Glow to stop the rarity decay, take another Hera boon, Bridal Glow is available again

@@lvl27_cubone96 it is better to just take rare crop multiple times in a run but it is too rng based. this type of run is all about getting 4 boons as quickly as possible. rolling rare crap than going to purging well and selling rare crop to get more rare crops. you have like 50 chambers to do this but rng purging well is too low.

Wildly luck based, but hestias burnt offering can also get rid of the bridal glow countdown. Also cherished heirloom let's you get heroic chaos keepsake boons so maybe worth it (in addition to athena)

That's a fun run! I've been trying to figure out what's the theoretical max number of heroic boons you could get and I think it's 15 (5 core boons via swaps, 4 aka 1 per zone via keepsakes, 4 via heroic rare crop, 2 via bridal glow). Unless you get bridal glow several times.

I’ve noticed that too. And it’s even more compounded in Tartarus. Now that I think about it. Most of the time there is a lot of gold pots in Tartarus.

I feel the same way; as Hael said there's The Boatman Arcana card, but even with it off, I feel like there's a lot of money going around. At least for the Underworld runs, I always have an abundance of money. With the surface, honestly, it's hit or miss. I either have no money going into the shop or I have like 500-600. I think there's a few reasons for the money seeming to be more common. In the underworld, you have Troves which *always* have money, unlike Hades 1 which had the gemstones, Darkness, etc. Nemesis gives you a solid $100 if you beat her, which is usually feasible, Mourning Fields often has a money drop on a door, and then yes, Tartarus has plenty of gold pots usually. On the surface, you have all the little side rooms in Ephyra as extra encounters, and I'm pretty sure they can give you gold as a reward too. There's also _so many enemies_ on the surface, in every region, as well as Heracles encounters where you (or at least I) often rack up a solid $50+

Boatman arcana, purse keepsake, Hercules, nemesis, more Hermes boons, Poseidon boons, one Arachne outfit, one curse option. Game definitely provides more gold and more ways to earn gold that can start early. Hades 1 a gold build was a choice in hades 2 a gold build can be an accidental thing you have going by accident.
