Heroic rabbit digs a tiny stuck kitten out of trouble!

Chasky the rabbit comes up with a genius solution to free his cat friend, Pelu. The fluffy pet quickly digs a hole near the shed for the cat to fit through at their home in Spain. After the bunny is done, it hops away and takes a well-deserved rest after the rescue effort. Pelu goes to thank his fluffy friend for the help when he finally gets out.

I live in Texas and have owned 4 rabbits. They are burrowers by nature and can easily dig dry dirt on a hot day. Without interference a rabbit can dig a 2 foot long burrow in a matter of minutes. But yeah, the bunny was hot judging by the way it plopped down to cool off afterwards.

My theory: the rabbit digs for a while, then waits for the cat to realize he can get out. But the rabbit then realizes that the cat feels weird about getting out when he is too close to him. The rabbit decides to give the cat space to make em feel comfortable, as he continues to make himself useful by spreading the dirt (class act). But maybe the hole isn't large enough, so he goes back to dig deeper. Notice he once again gives the cat space so it can get out when it wants to. And the second the cat decides to get out, the rabbit lays there like, "no worries, my intention was only to help you, I am not a threat".

@@bazileia9222 Yes, they are very empathetic and indeed quite intelligent! I was just joking, because they can really make me laugh sometimes with their actions. But those are mainly them just not caring if they bump into things, they just sort of play rough when they are really enthusiastic/happy. But the majority of the time they are rather smart... For example: When I first got my bunnies, my sister warned me not to use my voice when they would do something wrong, but clap my hands instead, so they wouldn't start to associate my voice with being in trouble and then get scared of me all together. For the first few weeks my hands were often hurting from all the clapping. Eventually I just gave it up and I actually DID start using my voice when they were doing something I didn't want them to. And what did I find; they learned VERY quickly what the different tones in my voice are. They are intelligent enough to hear the difference between "hey cutie, are you such a sweet girl?" And "NO, DON'T CHEW ON MY SHOES!" They are smart enough to understand that when I shout out, it's just about that one thing, and that I still love them a lot!
