There are many ways to warm up: Move the body in many different ways and planes of motion, and use light clubs when you get to it. Traditionally, Persian practitioners would do many variations of push up in their warm up before they swung their clubs.

Thank you so much Mr. Sanchez for these wonderful exercises and your relaxed, easy way of describing some of the motions. I use this warm-up now as part of my own routine. After working with light clubs for a year or so I intend on graduating to the heavy-duty meels...Your content is top-notch knowledge of a modern twist on an ancient training regimen!
