I love how Sir Ian McKellen uses that graceful Shakespearean element to make Magneto this cruel gentleman.

It's the perfect Magneto imho. His mannerism, superior intellectual and persuassive discourse makes him a beliavable villain. I know Fassbender is truly good in the character as well, but sadly his suits are no contest for McKellen's long black suit and cape plus his helmet makes him look impossing. Probably the best superhero character ever designed for X-Men by 20th Century Fox (aside from Deadpool and the final X-Men suits from Apocalypse)

(Also, Michael Fassbender is too Irish for the role, and he looks more like Matt Murdock/Daredevil)
@Dr.Leymen7 ай бұрын
@@KenMasters. it's not just about the looks. Casual audiences in the late 90s and early 2000s weren't really ready for 100% comic-accurate costumes and it is always better to cast an actor that can act extremely well but doesn't look completely like its original instead of an actor that may look more like their comic book counterpart but doesn't act well
