Is it true this can be pruned/branch removal between spring and summer? Also, when can I do a root reduction and transplant into a bonsai container? Thank you

I just realized my mom had two bonsai lemon trees they just need to be transferred to a bonsai pot finally & j need to prune the roots & leaves & in 5-10 years it will be perfect 👌🏽

So amazing, I'm nearing the time to remove a whole hedge row of Junipers from the backyard, I have plans to save a many as I can to make, and share bonsai potential plants to those that may want to experiment with them, they all have at least been on the property since a decade or so after this homes construction in 1962, there are several plants that are native to china and Japan that have been planted here, there's two different types of cherry trees from either japan, or china, as well as honey locust trees, but the complete fence-line in the back has, vintage wood junipers that are around 5 to 6 feet tall, and the area where they live, is nearly 15 feet wide from the fence, to the front boarder. So I hope to be able to share the possibility of making some of these specimens into old wood growth bonsai trees for individuals to enjoy, I'm disabled, and don't have funds to invest in potting materials, so I hope I can make something happen on the limited finances I have, and I have no access funding to make this a reality, but will be doing my best to spread happiness to others!!

Stay safe Peter. You mentioned social distancing at the beginning, but if you were around a Covid infected person your distance and lack of masks would have probably resulted in infection. You're an international resource....take care of yourself.
@flightmarine4 жыл бұрын
Agree with Creighton, Although you mentioned distancing, this did not take place at all. Such a bad example to so many other people. Please take care in future Peter as I love your vids.

I could hardly watch. They were totally in each other's breath clouds there. As someone who is trying very hard not to be part of the problem that had me cringing repeatedly. I can see Mr. Chan having the occasional absent-minded professor moment, but there were three adults here facilitating this transfer of virus matter.

unfortunately for us in the USA there is no option to buy from Herons, on their website they said it is for EU only

Ok good to know

Bringing living plants into the US is tricky, since you generally have to bare-root them. But you can check with e.g. kzbin.info in Fort Lauderdale or kzbin.info in Nashville.

Peter, I am very concerned that you are not wearing a mask, you and Andy are not consistently staying 6 feet apart, and you are both working and breathing hard at times. Please be more careful, Peter, you are an international treasure, no longer a spring chicken, and all your followers will be heartbroken if you were to become ill.

Absolutely no social distancing at all, nor masks. Peter I appreciate your amazing work but please set a better example.
