Hey, I'm an arborist and when I'm pruning trees at work use this philosophy of yours as a foundation. Thank you for everything.

I used to teach the staff at RHS Wisley how to prune their shrubs and trees in an "Artistic" way. I also have clients who have me work with their arborists when they prune large trees on their estates.

Brilliant Peter you make potential problems with awkward branches so easy to resolve with your easy to follow suggestions, it’s probably been the most difficult thing to grasp over 30 plus years of my bonsai hobby. This tree has given me inspiration for another one of my welded creations 🙃……..

Keep up your good work

I like the thinking along the progress “this might be a future problem..”. So maybe getting rid of problems within the tree gives a more natural way of defining its structure than just trying to make the best out of it. Cut out the bad and you end up with the good! Thanks Peter for that impulse! ❤

That look so different. I would love to have a tree like that in my garden. Your artistry is unbelievable.
@joegarland4885Ай бұрын
I must say Peter the structure of the tree is totally different than I had in my minds eye, when you used the first white bag to cover the main apex leaving the highest side branch as the new apex and leaving the tree slanting as it was, I think that would have worked also. The design you have chosen as an upright image has a majestic look now which suits the tree well, I would love to have seen the tree in its completed form but as you say it will take too long. Great to see you doing this type of video work again. Thank you Peter.

You have that squamata the ole razzle dazzle Peter. Nice work. 💪🏼 Namaste.

As an owner of some squamata I like not to be alone 😂. As you mentioned in earlier videos they are nowadays not so popular and a little bit hard to work with. Thanks a lot

The upright styling did great justice for that tree!

Definitely improved the look by standing it up straight. Quite majestic looking now. You can see the reference you made towards a redwood.

Is it ok to do this kind of work now- In November? Cutting roots and repotting? Or was this recorded back in autumn? I have a Squamata i was going to wait until spring to pot it but maybe i dont need to wait?
@peterchan3100Ай бұрын
Yes you can do it now in November but you need to protect it from frost - I have a greenhouse remember.

Heard nothing but the Police never came to investigate the crime - they said that the CCTV footage is not clear enough and that there is very little chance of catching the criminals - I was burgled twice in case you didn't know.
