Usher had sex with a woman earlier this year who had no idea he was exposing her to Herpes ... according to a new lawsuit she's filed for millions of dollars.
According to the suit she and Usher hooked up in Atlanta on April 16 at her home. She says there was some heavy petting, some kissing, and she performed oral sex on him. They eventually had intercourse, and she says he wore a condom.
However, in the docs, obtained by TMZ, she says they had sex again 12 days later -- this time in a New Orleans hotel room -- and they did not use a condom.
Cut to this month ... when Jane Doe says she read news reports about Usher admitting in docs, connected to an earlier legal case, that he has Herpes Simplex 2.
In this new suit, the woman does not say she's infected. She is concerned because she was "exposed" and says she wouldn't have had sex with Usher if he'd disclosed he has the virus.
She's suing Usher Raymond IV for negligence, battery and emotional distress ... and is seeking at least $10 million in damages.

Uh I wrote my comment outside of this thread... One thing I didn't mention is that some people get herpes other places than just mouth and genetalia... I had it inside my nose once, my best friend had a spot on her bum where she'd get herpes almost every month ( at that time of the month) - as in high up on her bum, towards the hip.. If you have compromised skin you might get a herpes outbreak on that spot, I usually get then when i have a cold and haven't taken enough care of the skin around me nose and mouth.... In Denmark we have creams and patches that are over the counter - and pills that are prescription....if you have herpes and apply a herpes cream ( at least the once we get here) you know if it's herpes or not, if it is the cream will sting a bit when you first apply, but if it's just a sore and not herpes, you won't feel it at all... Usually if you start treating a beginning sore right away you can get it to go away before the skin breaks! Uhhh what else.... I seem to remember something about birth and herpes - something about that if you have an outbreak when you go in to Labour I would have to have a c-section - but it's 23 years ago I was in Labour so maybe that's not the case anymore... Oh and just because you for some part of you life has frequent outbreaks doesent mean it will always be like that... I have a few autoimmune conditions and as I'm writing this I haven't had an outbreak in about 4 years - but during some parts of my life I had it almost every other month... Oh and I got herpes at 18.....

G Amorel Foster being in the health field u will tell you mist clinics won't test for herpes unless you present symptoms or convince them you have been exposed. The blood test or swab test is not even part of the std panel. You literally have to ask for it specifically and without symptoms you might get some questioning from set clinician.

So, I'm more interested in natural remedies, and also am breast feeding, and prefer not to take medicine. Two things you can buy in the store that can help (please do your own research, as well!) are Zinc supplement, which can help prevent outbreaks by keeping your immune system strong. And Lysine/L-Lysine, which I used to clear up an outbreak, and it totally worked! Lysine and Arginine naturally are in many foods, and when I eat a lot of foods with Arginine, I take Lysine, just as a precaution. Arginine, while not inherently bad for you, should be avoided as much as possible while having an outbreak. Most foods have both Lysine and Arginine, but may have more of one than the other. When I used Lysine to clear an outbreak, I took 3 a day for...I forgot how long. But do your research (you'll have to tell KZbin specifically what you're looking for, because most videos about Herpes only mention pharmaceuticals), and you'll be able to decide how it works best for you, if applicable.

I did my dissertation in this and loved it. Its pretty much like having chicken pox, pox is caused by the varicella zoster virus which is one of the 8 strands of herpes. You won't have several out breaks but the virus will remain in your system and can reappear again (re-activated) under stress in the form of shingles. Due to the virus travelling along our neurones with shingles you will see the outbreak follow a pattern somewhere in your body. Herpes isn't dangerous its just annoying because your immune system won't get rid of the virus. Imagine not being able to get rid of the flu virus and just having reoccurring flu like symptoms.

MiVidaBellisima I think a big takeaway from this video is that many people do not have symptoms whatsoever so they aren't asking for testing (as herpes testing isn't part of "typical" STI screening). Sometimes it is transferred by accident. I do agree that if you know you have herpes or any other STI you should tell your partner before the first kiss.

I think what make the Usher story so bad is that he know and didn't tell his partner, and I just hope he didn't give it to his wife and she not knowing about it. My best friend her husband the only man she have sleep with gave her herpes and genital warts, she was traumatized because she felt betrayed because he knew. she divorced that guy because it was clear to her he didn't love her. Excellent explanation! I wish that I was more educated on this subject after my divorce 5 yrs. ago. The second relationship after my divorce the woman who I trusted gave me genital herpes type 2. Even wearing a condom did not protect me 100%! I was so depressed after my diagnosis...even had suicidal thoughts. Luckily there is a good support system with the internet now.
