Cool vid mate, i bet a lot of the snakes and other reptiles are attracted to the roads, because of the heat they absorb, its a death trap for them really.

Thanks mate, that's definitely the case in hot lowland areas where the tarmac soaks up a lot of heat like you say but up in places like this at higher elevations with lower temps and a lot of clouded/wet weather I do wonder if it plays a part or if it's more that you encounter snakes simply crossing :)

Great video. Hope you make it over to Borneo some time. Maybe you could let us know how venomous each snake is. We come across a few snakes on our fruit farm and I am not always sure if they are dangerous or not ! Thanks
