I have to re-watch! I binged several (at least nine?) seasons in a row on KZbin last year, which is not the best way to experience "Taskmaster." I thoroughly enjoyed it and remember Richard's having been on but none of the details. 🤔Through no fault of his, I might add - I was on sensory overload and/or multi-task[mastering] so due attention wasn't paid. A vaguely recall Greg's having been hard on him as his his wont with certain personalities when he's in Taskmaster mode.

Horne is one of the most quick-witted people ...in the world, maybe? He is able to rewind the immediate past and correct (usually others') mistakes, without his persona seeming embittered or even that pedantic. Always with a chuckle, and humility. Niightmare for the ego.

The "haircuts" segment at 1:03:40 really shows off what these two guys can do with nothing. Richard just *knows* that Alex loves this sort of talk and he's definitely intentionally setting up a loaded pause ( at 1:04:40 ) for Alex to slam home. Fucking brilliant from both of them.

27:30 Bootleg Etymology boot + leg. Originally a nickname given to smugglers in King George III's reign, derived from the smugglers' custom of hiding packages of valuables in their large sea-boots when dodging the king's coastguardsmen. Verb bootleg (third-person singular simple present bootlegs, present participle bootlegging, simple past and past participle bootlegged) (chiefly US, transitive) To make, transport and/or sell illegal alcoholic liquor. (transitive) To make, transport and/or sell an illegal version or copy of a copyrighted product. (intransitive) To engage in bootlegging.

The nurse said I would be going to theatre soon, and my two friends replied "why, what play is he going to watch ?". Me and my two friends were pissing ourselves laughing, the nurse threw my two friends out of the casualty room lol. It happened when I was 18, and it wasn't traumatic at all.
