Hi Lloyd! Thank you. I'm glad to be rid of that noisy air-handler. Thanks for stopping by. Warm greetings from Wishram.

Hi Ducelick! I shopped around quite a bit before I bought this one. There's some on Amazon like this one for $650, but they don't have as high effiency ratings. These heat pumps are a great way to heat and cool your house. Thanks for stopping by. Warm greetings from Wishram.

Great deal! -- A veteran? I didn't remember that, if I knew it. Thanks for your service! My daddy was Navy, my husband was Army 82nd Airborne, a good friend in the Marines, and I have a son working for the Air Force and a nephew in the Coast Guard. 🙂 --Hi, Peaches!!!😊

Hi Lynn! Yeah, I was a cook in the Army. I won "Chef of the Quarter" for the 1st Infantry Div. FWD. 2 times in a row while I was stationed in Germany back in the 80's. My dad was Navy too, and so was his dad, and so was his dad....., but the Army gave you more money for college back then, so I bucked tradition. Thanks for stopping by. Warm greetings from Wishram.

@@ToddAndrewCole We were really poor when my husband was in the Army. (Enlisted man... nuff said.) Not much grocery money. My husband depended on the big lunches at the barracks when he was at work. And whenever he went out in the field for a week of training, which was often, he collected up all the C-rations that the other men didn't like and brought them to me. I happily ate them. 🙂 They didn't like the canned pork or the fruit cake, but I liked them fine so I got a lot of that. They got cigarettes with each meal, and since my husband didn't smoke, he'd trade them for more food for me. I had my two oldest kids while he was in the Army, and I joked that they were C-ration babies because I ate so many.

But my main point was that the Army cooks were greatly appreciated. 🙂

That's a good story. I never minded the C-rations either. I remember liking the spaghetti and the John Wayne chocolate bars real well, (at least that's what we called them).@@lynnstillwell2

I learned a lot about basic cooking in the Army, and it's served me well throughout my life; cooks and kings never go hungry we used to say.@@lynnstillwell2

Install this same Hessaire unit, and everything looks good. All but the fact that it does not turn on. Remote has power, yet is not turning on the unit. The four potential issues listed in the troubleshooting page do not appear to apply. Any ideas of what the issue may be?

Hi friend! Sorry you're having problems. I would check with a voltmeter to see if you are getting the proper voltage to the outdoor unit. If that's good, then I would check to see if the air handler inside is getting the proper voltage. Also, check the wiring diagram to make sure you have all the wires in the right places. If all else fails, call a HVAC technician. They should be able to figure it out. My unit has been working well, and I've been grateful to have it with all the hot weather we've been having. Thanks for stopping by. Warm greetings from Wishram.

Do you know if you can move the drain line to the other side of the unit? By default, it goes out the back right, but I need mine to go out back left.
@ToddAndrewCole29 күн бұрын
Yes, you can change it easily to the left. That's how I did mine. It'll tell you how in the instructions. Thanks for stopping by.
