HEXBUG Battlebots Hypershock and Rusty: My Thoughts

A few additional notes I didn’t touch up on fully in the video -It is unfair to bash on this set because of what we could have gotten. I know some people were mad we got Rusty and not end game or Hydra. I myself probably would have liked one of those more than Rusty. But that doesn’t mean that it’s fair to hate on the toy itself because you wanted something else. If you don’t like Rusty in the line, then just don’t buy it. -the issue with Rustys battery box for me was they used different metal pieces to contact the battery and it is really tight and takes a lot of force to get them in. The battery box doesn’t sit flush with the actual bottom either which I am pretty sure isn’t supposed to be like that. I am curious if this is a reoccurring issue or if it’s just me. - I redid the same Hypershock-Blindside hit a lot of times and it didn’t flip over again. So that hit where blindside flipped I think was a one in a million shot by Hypershock. I get why Hexbug chose Rusty, it’s the fact Rusty is so popular. People went crazy for it when it was revealed, it was a smart choice by Hexbug.

I look forward to getting them. I've had an idea with Rusty. I can find out how it works then I might get another one and try and customise it to look like Mortis, one of the contestants from the original BattleBots and Robot Wars.

Hypershock became my new favorite robot when he literally annihilated Gigabyte in Champions!!! This Hexbug makes him 10 times better!!!

Hypershock is definitely the superior of the two IMO but both work very well.

Both are incredibly impressive, I am in love with hypershock and its spinner. Plus I'm glad they made rustys hammer powerful, Also I agree with when it comes to how hypershock looks. In terms of next years set, I would love to see either Skorpios Vs Hydra or Tantrum Vs Endgame.

onestly if hexbug want to consistantly try somthing different they should go with somthing like kraken vs gigabite because squarpios=sawblaze Hydra=bronco tantrum seams a bit complicated and endgame=bitefource

Did you notice in Hypershock that the left and right sides are color coded just like in real life? I'm pretty sure they are anyway.

I think what Hexbug has basically proven is the Rivals packs isn’t always gonna be “rivals” more just a name for the set of bots at this point. They have kind of been on and off with the set of robots actually being bots that have fought.

SPOILERS FOR BATTLEBOTS CHAMPIONS AHEAD After hypershock tossed Duck around, tore Valkyrie apart, dismantled mad catter, and sent gigabyte to the shadow realm last night, hypershock became one of my new favorite bots. And seeing that it could do that to blindside, i am excited to see how it will perform in robot khaos season 7.
