Thanks for the comment. I can’t say it’s not late, but it doesn’t mean you are either. I understand it’s a big step for you, but I don’t recommend asking for other people’s opinion about whether you should do it or not. If you truly love software engineering, you definitely can succeed regardless of the age. But you need to be prepared to compete with others with higher experience. If you want to do something you love, just do it! (And of course, take a calculated risk. )
