@@AlexRubio I have no clue. Probably because there's really no other third party ps5 controller so they can pretty much set the price until theres more competition. I know, the mark up is insane on this thing.

4:00 - One solution to enjoying analogue gas and brake on that controller is to assign those functions to the right analogue stick. Most driving games let you do this since that was the norm for racers on the PS1 and PS2. In fact I used the right stick when playing through Dirt 5 because I got use to that control scheme from playing Gran Turismo back in the day.

@@SuperJumpReviews That is true, a better solution would be to follow the blueprints of the Xbox Elite Controller. You have this switch that can change the triggers from analogue to digital. Sony probably should consider making their own Elite controller, there is no doubt a market for it. Having said that, I'm sticking with the right stick since I'm an old fart who refuses to change.

the taller thumbs tick increases the accuracy of aiming... and do you even play video games? my kids know the button layout or the buttons... they have been the same since ps1...

I wish someone made a controller with a PS Vita type d-pad. may just be me but the short travel clickiness of that dpad makes it my favorite I've used. The Series S dpad does come close though Also here's the real question, does this controller have the same drift issues on the analog sticks as the official?

Oh jeez I’ve never heard of the official controllers having any drift issue. Drift issue is something I’ve only experienced with the Nintendo switch so far.

That's the price of a whole switch or the series s. Controllers stop being worth it the moment it goes beyond the $100 threshold unless it has specific features or some sort of top notch material used.

ohhhh honestly Matt, I have no idea haha. I know Dirt 5 allows you to remap the R2 (accleration) to the R3 analog stick but as for disabling the R3 button, that ones right over my head😂To be honest with you again, I haven't touched that controller since I last did the video🤣

I spend money pretty recklessly when it comes to stuff I enjoy, but $290 is ridiculous for this. If I could get it with the original adaptive triggers, and it was about $150-$180 I'd jump on it. I do miss my back buttons from my ps4. I miss em bad, but not $300 bad

Yeah, it's definitely not worth $300. It's nice, I'll admit it, but not worth all that money. Heck, you could get a series s, ps4, switch for that amount of money. I'd rather get a whole console then just a controller.

Really surprised there isn't more being offered by other companies in the way of an elite Dualsense. Removing adaptive trigger function is also an immediate deal breaker for me.

Def overpriced....same with scuff...battle beaver is the only one that does different, such as toggle tension which is one of the biggest differences from all other pro controllers...except battle beaver controllers take 3 months to make.
