Well, the Galt House (its a really fancy hotel) is in Kentucky. Last time I tried playing the piano in public (I was doing The Entertainer, and that was in the Titanic Museum in Tennessee), I suddenly forgot how to play that. I will keep practicing. But how do you have that much confidence?

@@ReddFourBirds I can absolutely relate to completely blanking! It used to happen all the time, though less so now, but only because I ended up doing this a bit and play lots of events and open mics now. I think the only way around it is to play regularly. I've been super nervous beforehand doing stuff like this and it probably took a few songs to get comfortable and the crowd being involved certainly helped, but after the initial 'aaaahhh this is scary' phase it's all much easier. Go for it, do it again and again and I promise every time will get easier and don't stress about what anybody else really thinks :) Also don't stress about playing things perfectly, everybody makes mistakes and nobody really cares :P
