Dustin will get his knickers in a knot but his comment section is filled with exactly what you said. He does daily content so it’s obviously hard but I think he sees people comment it as hating when it should be constructive feedback. He doesn’t always attribute which he and I disagree on but it is what it is. Again, not hating. I like him. I wouldn’t put Neo in this bucket, he’s always attributed for me and referenced from what I recall.

I think the other point to add is that the hobby news niche is small, especially these days. Not like it was a few years ago. Theres a clear distinction between people doing the research and work and those repeating what’s already been repeated. I’ve no doubt repeated too so this criticism also reflects on me.

I know this may sound strange, but something that's been getting on my nerves a slight bit more of late is that there is too much positivity in card hobby videos (and more so the comments) to the point that everything is so watered down. Every card, every video, every thought, no matter what it is, is now described as "awesome" or "iconic" or a "grail", etc. I know people are trying to be supportive and such, but these words have lost their meanings now. I'm one of the few that would maybe say the online bandwagon stuff actually makes the hobby worse (more depressing) for me. The innocence we had as "kid collectors" is gone. I still enjoy a lot of channels, though. - Keep dancin' my friend. That makes me happy!

So funny. My friends and I have been joking about this for years. For the guys who jumped on the card bandwagon during the boom trying to make a living at KZbin it’s hard to come up with regular content and they don’t know much about cards or sports history so what else are they going to do? Loved your take on everything and you are so spot on about it all....👏 I find that Neo has to report on every single thing which means he repeats stuff so easily and could be most likely getting it from others... I also find him to be a comment hound on other channels correcting peoples comments, like they are not allowed to have an opinion. Sports Card Dad, haven't watched much mainly because of the paid promotion 🐂 💩... Instant turn off... Junk Wax Hero, started watching but soon realised he is just reporting on news straight off twitter feeds... and doesnt do his research...eg. once said dont know if Dan has covered this but clearly if he looked at his channel, thumbnails would've shown he had...... Also didn't know of AIH at all... 🤦🏻‍♂️ Keep Dancing all calling out the 🐂💩

This one doesn't bother me as much. I'm a regular Sports Card Dad viewer and he's the aggregator I watch the most. NEO and Junk Wax Hero are not my cup of tea so I don't experience deja vu as often as most people. It's kind of like watching First Take, Pardon the Interuption and Around the Horn ... a lot of overlap but I'm curious about what my favorite talking heads have to say about today's blah blah blah. I agree about shouting out where you get an idea from.

Feel free to pin this comment. Regurgitation of news stories. Be honest, no one really enjoys the media and news. We ALL love the hobby in some way. I do believe in that. Please try harder for that YT check and them clicks. Make that money, do you. But let's all be honest with ourselves, we know why you do it. Once that check comes in, you like to see it continue.
