Hi Skipper, in Europe we use a sbirolino, an invention from Italy. You can get higher weights to cast further and they are floating or slow sinking. Since the sbirolino is the casting weight and floating, you can use a smaller bobber as a bite indicator and it is more sensitive.
@HeySkipperАй бұрын
Sbirolino huh? I’ve never seen it used before. Sounds interesting, I’ll have to look it up.

It's just a marker flot thay have them for carp fishing in the uk you could try .or try a boille spod rocket as well made by gardner tackle
@1Venger8 күн бұрын
Yeah the UK is far more advanced than any other country in terms of rig or fishing tackle design... Just to take a look at British Carp Fishing takes it to another level (Nash, Korda, etc...) ... I miss fishing for carp there (I'm British English) and now I fish in Brazil, where I now live, to fish for unknown monsters of the deep in the Amazon and the Cerrado of the South West/East. Mainly peacock bass/piranhas at the moment but also huge leatherfish like Red Tailed Cats etc....
@jayb81798 күн бұрын
@1Venger there some big fish wear you are fishing in Brazil I fish for years if you need any halp for tackle just drop me a message and I see if I can halp you out if you can't get it wear you are m8 good look with the fishing you have a big one if you keep trying and try pre baiting if you are close to where you are fishing a big edge for the big fish
@1Venger8 күн бұрын
@jayb8179 I have managed to bring all of my carp tackle here to Brazil 🇧🇷 ( 6 or seven carp rods! Delkim bite alarms, bivvies, carp porter mk2 barrow... to name a few bits of tackle... I even had to make my own boilies here as they didn't exist here over the other side of the Atlantic... (trust me bringing it here was a job and a half! Lol...)... But the commercial fishing 🎣 is way different to England or European waters, the peace isn't the same here...there are big fish in the commercial lakes (19.8kg was my biggest Tambaqui they go way bigger 40kg+)but rarely there isn't any night fishing at all, just just days... Now mostly I fishing via a pedal (and gasoline powered motor) powered large kayak hunting for the elusive peacock bass and I'll spend multiple days alone in the wilderness surviving and living off the supplies I take with me on my adventures... Cheers 🍻
@jayb81797 күн бұрын
@1Venger your sould start a boille company if you can't get them out there as thay might smash the waters you are fishing is there big carp out there as well if you need me to send some flavours out there for you jhon baker or richwoth or any ov the good companys premier baits to make bolles I could sourt that out for you or and boilies but it have to be shalf life bolles as frozen ones would go off the time you got them I got a fuw m8s that have tackle shops and that work in some as well so won't be a problem getting any fink for you m8

That big hunk of foam is no where near as aerodynamic as a regular old popping cork that people normally use to suspend a shrimp for specks. Plus you can't really twitch it for attention like a normal popping cork
@HeySkipper29 күн бұрын
Really? Explain the physic behind that one. The wings and shape of the rocket are designed to soar. Think about an actual missile shape or an actual rocket shape
@1spiralout29 күн бұрын
@HeySkipper @HeySkipper Do you really think that that big hunk of foam is giving you some kind of extra cast distance or lift or something because it's pointy with fins? All it's doing is adding wind resistance and drag. Rockets don't have "wings," they have fins and are shaped like rockets for stability, not for 'soaring'
