Thank you for your videos! Recently moved to Tampa and have started fishing. I was discouraged at first, but now I’m a level up from noob. Lol. Was able to take my wife and kids fishing and now they enjoy it! Hopefully catch you out there one day!

Great video as always. I missed you guys by about a month because I was at Ft DeSoto last month wade fishing near the rocks on the right side of the pier and we pulling out mangroves all day although mostly undersized. I had a manatee rub up against me while fishing too which was cool. A little kid freaked the heck out when it came towards him which was hilarious and I had to calm him down and let him know it was a harmless "sea cow". The dolphins can be annoying especially at the Skyway but they're my totem so I respect them and deal with the fact that you gotta pay the tax man at times. Speaking of, that was funny when Freddy Freeloader (that's what we call em) stole your fish. Looked like he was going to choke on it trying to get that mack down! I do want to thank you for turning me on to Bushi's Fish On channel as he's helping me learn a few new tricks in the local area and I'm hoping to hook up with him the next time I'm out that way fishing. I'm definitely going to get some of those vertical jigs and I've already caught alot of things on the Goofy jigs in the past. I hope maybe to meet up with you sometime whenever you're back down in central FL. I'm out in Lakeland so I don't get out to the coast as much as I prefer and do alot more bass fishing which Lakeland is excellent for especially if you have a kayak or boat although truthfully I love to bank fish retention ponds more than lakes and have caught some monsters on them on my lunch hour when I worked in Orlando and used to fish every lunch hour. Caught bass ranging up to 7# during lunch which is always a great time! Keep up the great work and hopefully we can meet up next time you're around. Tight lines brother!

I only go by myself every time and I'm afraid to try new places. I know it's alot to ask but it would be nice if you can try going fishing at Vilano Pier or any piers in St Augustine to see if your technique can catch anything there cause I sure CAN'T. Brendon, those birds are pesky buggers. I have had Bald Eagles steal my salmon from me. Once they had it I couldn’t do anything to keep them from the fish other than putting it in a cooler. But when you catch a salmon that’s 70lbs it’s pretty hard to conceal it.

Just came back from Fort De Soto empty handed, I was disappointed to see so little anglers catching fish today, one guy got a medium sized shark, probably 3-4 feet long, for me the robbed my shrimp bait all the time, with fresh fish chunks I got zero bites, put a live bait fish and took an hour to get a bit that took him. When we got there the dolphins were scaring all the fish too
