Actors Armie Hammer and Timothée Chalamet join director Luca Guadagnino at the Toronto press conference highlights for their movie Call Me By Your Name which had it's world premiere at the festival.
The movie is based on the book by André Aciman.
Plot: It's the summer of 1983, and precocious 17-year-old Elio Perlman is spending the days with his family at their 17th-century villa in Lombardy, Italy. He soon meets Oliver, a handsome doctoral student who's working as an intern for Elio's father. Amid the sun-drenched splendor of their surroundings, Elio and Oliver discover the heady beauty of awakening desire over the course of a summer that will alter their lives forever.

Wow, Timmy is so articulate and sensible for his age. Somehow I see him as Elio: both intelligent and sensitive. Idk, I trust him. And Armie is a charming, open and charming, charming, charming... And I love the way they handle all their interviews, they are so respectful to each other and the people around them. I am jealous.

Luca just said he loved the book; I am probably one of the few who has seen the movie a "thousand" times and I read and reread the book over and over; it is just like a candy to me, a 77-year-old lady. God bless them all, Andre in the first ranks!
