Why these outdated HR job titles are holding your career back

I work for the Federal Government in HR and I work from home and have compressed schedule and I love my job and supervisors. I don’t have to tussle in traffic and I get to take and pick my daughter up from school. Plus I get plenty of OT and we just got approved in January that we will get a lump sum for 3 years every 6 months. Already got my first one. It’s working for me. Do what makes you happy & what works for your family.

I feel you. I work 100% remote with unlimited PTO and a comfy salary...so happy I didn't feel like working in govt HR was the only way to get there. At the end of the day, everything ain't for everybody... right?

Most people, in my opinion, work in government because of public service loan forgiveness. Others work in government to build their experience & resume.

There are other ways to qualify for PSLF & im lost how it builds your resume for anything outside of government experience. I’ll hit on these in the video that I’m recording tonight. That video will cover my experience in government & pros & cons. 💜

Great content as usual! I’ve been in HR field for 9 years and all roles have been in public school, local government and currently state government. HRIS and processes are outdated. Whenever I have interviewed with private companies, I never get a job offer. I would love more content on this.
