Hezbollah to Israel: You attack Gaza, we attack northern Israel

Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah warned that northern Israeli residents would be unable to return home for the new school year if Israel continues its Gaza offensive.
Hezbollah has been exchanging fire with the Israeli military along Lebanon's southern border.
In a televised address, Nasrallah affirmed Hezbollah's commitment to fighting as long as Israel's assault on Gaza persists, highlighting the strong connection between the Lebanese front and Gaza.
The conflict has displaced tens of thousands on both sides and is raising fears of an expanded conflict.
In the meantime, in Hebron, hundreds of Palestinians protested against the Israeli operation in Gaza, showing solidarity with Gaza and urging Muslim nations to intervene.
As Israel marked its 76th Independence Day, celebrations were subdued due to the conflict.
Public discontent has grown towards Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu over his handling of the attacks and the ongoing escalation, with 273 Israeli soldiers killed since the conflict began.
