Love it! Neither side has a good reason, so they fight out of stubbornness ignoring the lives lost. The grunts (or conscripts?) just want to go home.

Great story! "War, war never changes." If those that yell the most about going to war actual had to be on the front line in war, then there would probably not be as much war as we have today!
