I like how in the first story he was worried that the incident might provoke a war. I bet the incident became nothing more than a footnote in the local human news. "And finally, an astrominer from the Talareth Mining Cluster came into an unusual mix of poorly equipped vessels trying to pass for being pirates. In what the net would later describe as an "Uno-Reverso" the would-be privateers have now gained forceful employment within the Mining community. No local pirate groups have come forward to claim responsibility for the attack. Officials declined to comment citing an ongoing investigation. As a friendly reminder to all you spacefarers; if you are travelling through the border regions, stay up to date with local travel news and of recent territorial disputes or pirate attacks. And from everyone here at BNN, stay safe out there."

@condorboss3339 Жыл бұрын
Khalid ibn al-Walid was one of the greatest commanders of the early Islamic expansion. He defeated armies of the Sassanid and Byzantine Empires in Iraq and Syria. He fought over 100 battles and never lost. Muhammed called him 'the Sword of Islam.' To those who know of him, he is considered one of the best commanders of all time. However, his mission was to conquer in the name of Islam, so the aliens would all be Muslims now

The Sun Tzu is clear: the general should work to keep the emperor weak and distracted with domestic trivialities so that he does not try to interfere with military matters. They also harvested a bunch of kings, emperors, and conquerors. They would have done better with the likes of Washington, Grant, Lee, and Patton.

really all the miner would have had to do to make it legal would have been to give minimum wage, or even just credits that can only be used at a company store and put a non fatal termination clause in place. Also your teaching them a trade, after doing it for 20 years if you gave them a half decent life, they 9 out of 10 will just stay, and believe me, teaching new people is not cheap. Also 23 new races that you could find things they like from human goods, merchants would pay top dollar for that info.
