Something I really like about this is it ACUTALLY seems like something that could be a custom in real life. Too many of the Build designs are so over-engineered with custom-made parts that the only way I could see them made is if the maker actually worked for Bandai and produced it as an official gunpla. The Livelance Heaven here takes the idea of inverting the Deathscythe Hell into an angelic counterpart, swaps a couple bits like the torso and head, and gives it a fresh color scheme. I could actually see someone doing this, and it works.

I'll probably just paint the metals, and maybe paint the yellow as a brighter gold, and the injected-gold as a copper-gold, and then the gray on the skirt as silver, because I have those paints left over. However, if I wanted to get stupid crazy, I would go for a pharoh theme. I still might just do that. I'm split on the idea, because the default colors look so good. We'll see.

The suits shown in the scene were made by fans for a contest, meaning bandai cannot just use those designs willy nilly, even if they are just customs. They'd actually have to ask the creators if they can use them for kits. Yes, seriously.

BUYER BEWARE!!!! I'm not entirely sure if this was only in the kit I bought, but the joint articulation for its right hand is a bit loose for me, so it might be a little annoying for some people. I think it should be fine if you don't touch it too much though.

Just watched episode 4 and i think all 10 of the HG kits have appeared now. The mobile trio in PSF, Helios and LLH, Misa in the Blazing, Mask Dumb in the Barbatauros, white-haired guy (Who was apparently the Breaker 3 protag all along) in the Command Qan[T] and the four P-Bandai kits (Ground Gundam FSD, Wing Zero, Gouf Custom and Astray) all just got summoned.

Those yellow parts clash so much-those definitely could use some gold paint Maybe some of the trim on the active cloak as well; give it more of a regal look (it'd look like it was out of Escaflowne now that I imagine it...)

One other issue that I've found with this kit since I got it is that the thrusters on the interior of the wings needed to be glued in place because they keep falling off. I just finished a second of this kit, where I used some of the metallic gundam markers to upgrade the yellow plastic to gold and where the yellow stickers should be...along with several of the gold plastic...and a few of the other details the art shows such as the details on the feet and adding bits of gold and silver along with a few more splashes of metallic sapphire in some recesses. I'm thinking of doing a bit more and trimming the knee and ankle pieces with white just to add a bit more contrast because I would have loved a bit more of a shift between the lilac and white sections for the tone there

Surpriseneat fix I discovered for those stickers: I'm in the middle of building this kit, and (since the parts are again mostly white) I found that a yellow sharpie does womders on the butt-flap (all white and where half the yellow stickers go) and on the insides of the wings. The wings are that violet color, so Im not sure how they'll look when complete, but I do firmly believe that it works on the butt-flap with extra light grey pannel-lining (from a mechanical pencil)

It needs to be said that the lance is MASSIVE for an HG kit (not massive like the HG Neo Zeong, but for something its own size). I have to be careful where I put it on my desk because the lance always seems to be poking into something else wherever I put it.

I have just finished this kit and I've gotta say ... it's rife with little issues that make me scratch my head. First in foremost, you gotta panel line this kit if you want anything remotely detailed amidst the white on white. As for the biggest problem: On the left arm construction, my piece C1-(3) has a plastic insert instead of where a hole was on piece B1-(9) for the right arm. And, piece A-(29) right arm under-wrist armor has a peg that inserts into piece B1-(9). Whereas the left arm pieces A-(28) and A-(25) are just using standard pegs that don't insert into each other like on the right arm construction. What results is the wrist armor on the left arm constantly pops out from the slightest bit of pressure since there is no connecting peg holding them in place unlike the right arm. It got so bad to the point where I had to whip out the good ol super glue to keep the armor in place. It looks to be either an oversight on Bandai's part, or a strange overlap with the deathscythe runners. Second, the small gold thruster bits located on the inside of the wing cloak are super loose and needs some kind of glue to prevent them from falling out. Third, the polycap torso joint is incredibly loose to the point where my gunpla performs a self hemicorporectomy just from leaning forward. It sucks a lot when trying to pose this guy. Fourth, the ball joints on the hands are some of the loosest that I've ever handled on a high grade to the point where you might as well glue them in the sockets to have it remotely carry its lance weapon properly. I absolute love this kit from an aesthetics standpoint, especially after panel lining. But it has to be one of the more problematic HG's that I've handled since I built the HGIBO Vidar. I definitely recommend folks to put in the extra work if you're wanting this to be anything remotely solid. Otherwise, I'd pass on this kit unfortunately.

But they do go on flat surfaces on white plastic so it would be relatively easy to paint. 3:13 It's pretty obvious that Bandai will make an HGAC XXXG-01D2 Gundam Deathscythe Hell (TV) using this HG; even without seeing the labels on the runner. But it's great to know that it's confirmed. 3:24 Yep~ That's the thing people are worried about; if it'll end up being a P-Bandai release.

I'm glad you pronounce it "Liv" and not "Lyv" because I pronounced it "Lyv" until I realized that Deathscythe Hell's opposite was the name of this kit. So to me, Live, as in, to live, is more of the opposite of Death (duh?) vs. Live, as in Alive. I dunno. It makes sense in my brain.
